Looking for a way to Limit FPS

Check out the latest beta of MSI Afterburner. There is a selection in this version to limit fps. I have not tried it yet, but it should work as advertised. Guru3d had it listed in their download area.

    need ATI voltage control program

I don't believe that you8r card has a Volterra voltage regulator on it. Only cards with programmable voltage regulators can use software to changes voltage. Your only method of changing volts may be through the BIOS.

    HD 5870 dilemma.

I went from 2xGTX 260's to a 5870. The performance is sometimes a tad faster, sometimes the same as the 2x260's, depending on the game. However, I dropped 10-15C on my northbridge temp at load, the 5870 is a bit quieter than the 2x260's. I sold the 260's for what I paid for the 5870 from a...

    Flip Queueing

Hmm, using the ATT version from Guru3d. It installs fine, but when I click the Settings button, the Driver Tweaks is all grayed out. I tried installing with the CCC instralled and without CCC installed. Currently using the 10.3 (official) drivers. Using Win 7 64 bit. EDIT: Solved. I...

    Flip Queueing

Long time green team user, now running a 5870 to replace 2-260's. I'm running the 10.3a Preview drivers and liking them so far. BIIIIG question, where do they hide the Flip Queuing option? From what I have Googled, Flip Queuing seems like it could be a Crossfire option only. Is this...

Moving to ATI! I Have questions :)

Look at it this way, he sold the 285 at time frame where he could still get top $$. Regarding Fermi, who knows what kind of performance it will bring and initially it will be expensive. I just switched to a 5870 from 2 GTX 260's in SLI. I got a great deal from a private seller on the 5870...

    Early 470 & 480 benches

The 5970 & 4xx look like very similar performing cards. It'll all come down to $/performance & "features" specific to the card / brand. If NVIDIA smart, they won't put these cards at steep prices, but they have to recoup their development costs. And the costs for this card are probably very high.

NVIDIA pulls 196.75 driver amid reports it's frying graphics cards

I'm using these drivers and I control my gpu fans via Precision. I've not sen a problem temp wise YET.........I ususally monitor my gpu temps & gpu utilization via OSD in Precision. Performance wise, I'm liking these drivers. Very nice IQ with good performance. NVIDIA has seemed to drop the...

    Crossfire sync problem

I'm glad to hear it's only one game. You probably stated that previously, but I've lost track. Do you have Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway? That's UT3 based. If you have it, does it exhibit the same out of sync behavior?

    Crossfire sync problem

As a guy that uses SLI32xQ AA on games where I can, I can appreciate where your coming from. It's all about visual quality. The more the better!! But this problem has been around for a while with ATI gpu's. I'd be RMA'ing cards at this point.
