the real waste is the fact that pretty much anything in xp 64-bit is substantially more bug-filled than 32-bit. Some would prefer to lose half a gig in trade for increased usefulness and less headaches

Those timings really scare me away from DDR3.. I think I will wait until they hit 5-5-5-18 1.65v or better.. Speed doesn't really matter to me. My 800mhz sticks are fast enough so 1333 would be pretty fast

Don't know where you get that from, XP64 is based on a superior core (Windows Server 2003), its stability is 1st rate.
