I really loved these games:
Quake (I used to play from the time I got up to the time I went to bed, no joke... only took breaks for bathroom/eating)
Quake II
Unreal
Unreal Tournament
Soldier of Fortune
Battlefield 1942 (Fragn's Combat was so cool... too bad it won't run on the 1.6 patch)

that's about all I can remember. I had other games but those were my favorite. Now today I have tons of other favorites but those are my childhood favorites right there

I used to be addicted to F15, it was amazing for that time, I bought a big helicopter sim back then to which was aroun 10-15 floppys worth lol. and I had to play around with shadow ram and all that nonsense just to get it running

Well,
Simcity3000- I remember trying to delete enuf stuff off of my dads computer so i could fit the 170mb installation. This must have been 99-2000, running an old P1@166mhz with 32mb of RAM and a 400mb harddrive.

F22 Air Dominance Fighter-first game i ever really played significantly, it was revolutionary for its time, i remember being AMAZED at the graphics and the interactivity of it all ,i could zoom into all the screens in the cockpit and do all sorts of stuff. Took me 6 months to learn to play the damn thing properly

Tibia-First MMORPG, and the last one, played it on and off for 8 years. excellent PVP system, twitch skill necessary. Quit after the 7.6 patch because they added an ingame aimbot to help noobs not suck so hard, took the fun out of the game.

F22 Lightning 3-First game i played competitively in a league, although rather arcady it had an excellent community and great people, very few douchebags there, due to the large cost of playin flightsims, anyone whos dropped 100 bucks on a flightstick for a single game will agree.

Halo Combat Evolved- One of the best FPS's ever hands down. 2+3 are shit becoz they nerfd the pistol. nuff sed

Unreal Tournament GOTY Edition-played it all day in school till we figured out how to crack CS

CS 1.6-Tied for Best Online FPS ever with Quake3Arena

Battlefield 1942-The hitregistration wasnt broken,first game imo to bring large scale vehicle combat. Still waiting for BF3....been 4 years already ffs wers my bf3


Alot of great games back then, i wish devs would actually consider other things than graphics.
