CHIEFTEC's successful story began more than 10 years ago when the Dragon Series was introduced; over 50.000 units left our production facilities monthly. To continue the story, CHIEFTEC has done a market survey and developed a brand new midi tower to lead the trend. CH-07 is the model you want to know more about.

"The CH-07 unifies all expected and necessary features that gamers require and will soon become one of the leading models in the Dragon series", says the general manager of Chieftec European branch office, Eddy Shih.

Ergonomic and distinct smooth-flowing lines emphasise the exterior design of this chassis which would be obtainable in combination with either a black or a ruby-red front panel held in mesh.

All necessary ON/OFF buttons as well as relevant connectors such as the USB, Audio and eSATA are located on the top of the front panel in an easy-to-reach position.

One (1x) 220mm LED fan to the left side panel and additional two (2x) and one (1x) 120mm LED fans each to the top cover and the front respectively are pre-installed. An optional 120mm fan can be posi-tioned to the rear of the chassis and provides an optimised air-flow to cool the installed components perfectly.

The interior of the CH-07 offers lots of space and accommodates not only M-ATX and ATX but also E-ATX mainboards owing to its special depth.

With the patented "easy-to-use" fastening clip, the installation of the four external (4x) 5.25" bays for ODD devices and the six internal (6x) 3.5'' HDD bays are of course tool-free and extremely simple. For more information, please visit the product page.

Looks alot like the shape of a CM690, I like the placement of the USB ports and such. But the side fan sticking out, I always hated those.

Looks suspiciously like a mid-size version of the CM HAF 932...

Its a blend of CM SNIPER and ANTEC 900 to me!!

I think case makers are running out of ideas :p Now they are just blending cases together.

i'm sure Chieftec designed this before the HAF or Sniper were released, it takes a while to design a case. I really like the top vents, the support for extended atx and the perforated expansion slot covers. I don't like the top it looks like it's going to have clearance issues when installing thick radiators because of the power supply mount is up top and the 220mm fan might not support 200mm or 230mm.

easy mod to fit a 240mm rad in the top :D

Nice case, but another one with the horrible 90` hdd cage though.

looks very nice to me

Looks to be lacking in the cable management area which imo newer cases/chassis should show more focus on if they're going to continue the current design strategies. Nice looking case, but I want to see more cable management provisions out of the chute w/o the need for a dremel. We know it's possible and realistic to ask, just do it!

right side panel looks pretty roomy for hiding cables.

I just realised why is there so many holes for mounting the motherboard. There is usually only 9 or a few more.

look alright i still reken coolermaster make better cases though

Cable management anyone? If so, best be breaking out the rotary, seeing as there seem to be NO cable routing holes?!

I'd say it's about time some of these side fans need to vanish. :slap:

+1!!! (That fan grill is 1 ugly POS)

top mounted PSU? No thanks.
lol...other than behind the mobo its the best place. (unless you got kids that may tip the case over)

I dont understand why Case designers are so slow to see it, its so simple..... Just move the mobo tray over about an inch, there is plenty of room for tall coolers, room to cool the back of the mobo, hide wires etc..

Nice case, but another one with the horrible 90` hdd cage though.

The old NZXT Nemesis case also had the 90` HDD Cage and i too didnt appreciate the poor cable management that it forces you to have, but i soon found a solution. Simply do a 180` and route the cables via an elegantly placed hole thats under the motherboard and cant be seen.

Im not a fan of the PSU up top but i have to admit, its always been more efficient up top, cooler with less interference.
