small i7 rig, what case?

small i7 rig, what parts??

So I want to make a small i7 rig. Something LANBOX style preferably but Micro-ATX is fine. I have a hard time finding a good case. I want something that won't have airflow problems even with a 10.5" Graphics card. Oh and btw I'd like to be able to fit a 10.5" card as well as a good 750W PSU, therefore a normal ATX PSU I guess. Suggestions? Also what particularities would this build have compared to a normal build?

OK so now I need help finding a good lga 1366 cooler that is 100~120mm in height, a good 550~650W MODULAR PSU with MINIMUM 36A and preferably small, I'm not sure which case yet

Of course it's possible, the Panzer isn't a very small case, infact it's probably the largest mid tower on the market, it's the same height as a HAF 922, and 2.5" wider (and the HAF is a wide case).

Just remove the Floppy bracket (looks like 2 bolts) and your set. This one really looks like a winner, looks like you can put a 140mm fan in the side, then 1 120mm where the funnel is, then 2 more 120's in the back, and a 120 up front. Thats about as good as it gets for air cooling in that small of a case, Cooler Master :respect:

Those 120 spots might only be 80 spots, but theres quiet a bit of room on each of them that you could do some cutting and fit in bigger fans. Would be a fun mod case and a cheap price.

I think all three cases are too small. I have the feeling that an i7 would cook itself to death :laugh:

, mostly because you don't have any space left to install a proper heatsink capable to deal with the heat

I really like the idea of wider and less high... more like a box then a tower... I'm not too sure though...

I'm not sure if Mozilla has it now, but Google Chrome and IE (I'm pretty sure on IE) allow you to highlight a group of words then right click them and it shows an option to search your search engine for them. So I highlight the Lian Li case name he said, right click and then it searches google for it. Helps a lot.

Even though you mentioned an ATX PSU I'm still going to suggest Shuttle's SX58H7 even though it supports Crossfire & SLi I'd most likely stick with a decent single card tbh.
