TPU has made my life better...

he asked for an infraction, so i tried to find everything wrong with his post and gave him an appropriate infraction

TPU is where I spend most of my free time.

I mean come on, where else can you befriend a mod, get on his teamspeak server, take a comment completely out of context, then give him shit for it on the boards..... Great place we have here!!!!:roll:
 
Speaking of Germany..... there is an old phrase in the USA talking about how Germans have the best organization skills. Maybe that innate skill helped W1zzard keep the site and its many sections together like email and image hosting despite all the dos attacks.
 
HOw can you possibly rack up do many infractions to ge banned? :confused:

I am glad W1z is generally pretty fair. I mean other forums have abusive admins and mods.

W1z is that guy who will let little things slide... until he has a bad day and then finally gives you an infraction for it. He knows how to keep people in check: every time I look at that avatar I imagine this:

He's having a wonderful day. Mailman's infractions probably piled up, and his boat fell off the reservoir, over the flood-gates.
 
fortunately i only have one infraction in my whole time here (called shadowfold a moron for not having a dvd burner BUT having a GTX 280). i will behave good i promise :)

Careful there. In German culture calling someone a Nazi is just about the worst insult there is to my knowledge. I know you don't mean it, but that could really make him mad.

I believe most Germans are fluent in English too. Their general education system is one of the best in the world. Mainly because its designed to create skilled labor out of everyone possible. I wish the USA did it the same way. But we would have to change many things to do so.

Not true. It has one of the worst education systems in the world. Further details available from the PISA study.

Actually, it all depends on age.

It is the worse in the "primary" and "pre-primary" years. But it has one of the best "tertiary" education systems, eg. Berufsakademie (specialised vocational training), college and university level. Secondary schools are pretty much average for Europe.

Yes, the above comment smells of broad brush generalisation... but is pretty much spot on.

sorry but wrong. Germany is inhabited by idiots, only a few ones stick far out of them;)
due to this i only spotted me and Wizzard as only Germans here, but i believe were up to 10:D

I like how W1zz and the mods are very accomodating when someone needs some time off.
This is the only board I know of where you can "request" a "leave of absence" and they make it so.

This can be very useful.
Let's say you are in school and have a major exam, or you are trying desperately to meet a deadline at work, and you know that your TPU addiction is going to be a problem.
Just ask for the time off you need and, Viola!, you don't have to worry about being distracted from that all important issue.

@ W1zz and Mods : No, I'm not that busy, don't ban me. :laugh:

Germans are smart yes, but its the youth thats fucked up. Many many German teens have bad education or don't care about education at all, and many teen girls are pregnant early, leaving them with a kid at 16 and without her man, which results in she not having a job and needing unemployment benefit, which in turn empties the treasury. Vicious circle.

And Bring Mailman back god damnit, he is the Eric Cartman of TPU, it needs him!
