Steve Jobs No More

I admit honestly i was never really a fan of him for many reasons but i cannot deny as a human being with family and friends it sucks that he is gone.

But going by pictures of him he looked like his body was suffering, not trying to say it's good that is he gone but he is probably much better off now.
 
He had pancreatic cancer, or the news says it was. Was never a big fan of apple, but imagine how much innovative technology we'd be missing without him. RIP, and hopefully the family copes well.

One day, I hope one day the cure for cancer will be a reality.

Some news channel showed a 2005 / some university where he made a speech just after he found out about his problems, very enlightening speech.

However I wouldnt be sad at all if apple stock dropped from this at all! :p
 
I blame Obama. I heard his policies killed jobs.
 
Not a fan of Apple stuff but he was genius in his own right... and kind of a jerk
 
This really is the passing of a titan, there are so few names in this industry that are as passionate, talented, and innovative as Steve Jobs. The man had driven innovation in the industry from day one and hopefully will inspire many more to step forward.

Even among those who felt his approach was somehow flawed, I think we can all respect a man who was dedicated to his craft. He loved his work because he was a geek like the rest of us.


Rest in Peace Steve, you'll be dearly missed :(

I was never a big fan of Apple products, but this is a very sad news.
 
i saw his last presentation and its kinda sad moment where one that has given much influence to the world passed away

While I hate MacOS X with passion, I can't deny that Apple did the right thing with MacBook Pro (beside the price), that's an amazing solid piece of hardware.

RIP Steve Jobs.
 
I really didn't like how he ran Apple, with all their restrictions on the products they sell you for a premium price, but I still felt shocked and saddened when I woke up this morning and had heard he'd passed away. It was inevitable, but I didn't know he was quite so close. My condolences go out to all his friends and family.

It will be interesting to see how Apple changes now without him.
 
never say bad about passed people...no matter what they did they already paid the ultimate price and we'll follow...

Steve was instrumental in pulling Apple out of the muck. But he was also a big reason of why I went from Mac fanboy to PC. His policies since the x86 switch I could never agree with. They were counter what he had been when he first came back. Bundles of lies coated in a new strive to become the monopolistic company they had fought against.

But as a fellow human who has been through chemo labs...no one should have to go that way. You never want to see those places or face the news the doctors bring. If you are doing something that increases the risk of cancer, don't say I didn't warn you. It is not worth the risk. You don't want to go out being eaten alive from the inside out. Those nurses in those labs have to be some of the bravest in the profession. They don't just see people die, they get to know them, become friends, all the while, watching them die in front of them. And they do it over and over.
 
RIP Jobs, as much as i didn't care for the man, he was an inspiration for me when i personally battled cancer two years ago at the age of 19...

for all those cracking jokes on what should be a moment to reflect and mourn (or STFU) i think you should read this brilliant article... is he arrogant, yea. is he competitive, yea. did he start a revolution we all participate in today, most certainly...

I stll remember the day our school got an Apple IIe. That day I was transfixed with computers, and nearly every day since.

I'm a sad man tonight, sad for him, his family and his friends. RIP.
 
RIP Steve Jobs... I don't like apple, or their products, but you were a great man in computer science and advertising...
 
I don't take him as some kind of great innovator, but we all have to agree that their PR department is one of the best in the world. Which means that he was picking good ppl for the job and that team exactly knew what they want. Because they always managed to make big deal out of perfectly ordinary things. And this isn't something many companies can brag about. Others created technologically far better products but they failed to make so much hype around as Apple did about their every single product.
