TechPowerUp today published the latest version of RealTemp, a comprehensive system processor temperature monitoring, logging, and clock speed monitoring utility. Version 3.70 packs several important updates over the previous version, starting with support for 6-core Intel "Sandy Bridge-E" processors, complete support for "Sandy Bridge" processors, more reliable power-consumption estimation using VID, updated i7 Turbo GT tool that lets you monitor multiplier changes with EIST and Turbo Boost playing tug-of-war, improved log file formatting, and visually-better max-temperature reporting through system-tray.

Nice! Thanks.

Nice, finally it's updated.

Can we get a ROG theme ;)

Hehe, maybe this will work a little better than the Asus monitoring utility that locks up when the CPU gets hot. I'll try it out tonight.

I must have been sleeping... when did TPU pick up RealTemp?

That's awesome.

I'd love to see the RT log being useful in diagnosing bottlenecks... like being able to track utilisation of CPU and GPU and FPS simultaneously. Run a bench or a game. Then load up the log. See what is happening at the frame drops. Is it CPU, GP or both, and what relative combination. Would be a BOON for making recommendations for upgrades... and working out where the best bang for buck is to solve a specific user/usage scenario slowdown/bottleneck.

AMD FX users need not apply.

Awesome! I use RealTemp 24/7 on all my computer's!

Thanks UncleWebb, your my favorite programmer!!!

Remember to Donate guys!!!!!

Unclewebb, Does this fix the wattage reporting? mine says 73W with 4.3Ghz 1.275V? shouldn't that be higher?

Any way to incorporate this in to the already decent GPU-z. Call it something else and viola, one tool to rule them all.

I was unaware that TPU dealt with RealTemp either.

I believe realtemp has always been made by unclewebb on TPU or was it passed off?

Yea, I thought years ago (mid 2000's), the original writer scrapped it because it was just taking too much time to keep up with all the hardware and support questions.
