I for one am excited. I have been waiting for a PC release since it was demonstrated at IDF 2006. :toast:

Well this game doesn't look unique at all but still interesting.

It came out for 2 years on 360 if you want to check it out.

yea can find it for Xbox 360 for like $10 used now... kinda to little to late especially if they try to charge $30 $40 or $50 its just not worth the investment, just easier to go to a friends and play it on 360.

Glad they released the game but at this point after 2 years anyone that wants it might as well wait for steam to put it on sale, and save yourself some cash.

I will be buying it, but I am not in any rush, since I expected it years ago.

exactly my point ill pick it up for $5 on steam during a sale, untill then, ive waited 2 years another wont hurt haha.

Put me on the wait till its on sale list as well.

Ooh o boy they blow there chance of me buying it ages ago as it sound like they have not improved it since then, Maybe if on sale which i believe wont take to long. Don't get me wrong i don't mind delayed games but they dumped all over the PC version and just said no game for you.

Yeah, I was excited about the game years ago, but then they decided to screw PC gamers over and just release it for the Xbox which pissed me off quite a bit. Not sure if it'll hold up to standards today, maybe I'll get it if I can find it in the bargain bin some day.

What standards? Gaming hasn't exactly moved forward the past couple of years.

Graphics are about all I can think of, in addition though the game had bad reviews with PC play testers (hence cutting it back to 360.) I get the impression this is a quick and dirty port, so this might not be very playable anyway.

great... they wait till AFTER i sell all my PC's to release this game..... pfffft!

Any mention of GFWL as a requirement for this? It is a Microsoft Games studios release.

But that was when it was supposed to be released aka 2 years ago I suppose? If so it's no indication of how this release is.

And me I don't care about graphics one bit, so I'm still excited.

I am also excited, but I don't really trust Remedy to develop good controls on their own. Their last PC release was 2003 and Max Payne 2 was arguably not that great of a PC title. All I am saying is I am not holding my breath and I am not buying it the night its released unless there is a demo to stifle my skepticism.

Sweet, I loved it on Xbox and I'll gladly pay for it to add to my PC collection, especially as I never played the additional content.

I will. And I bet pc version will miss all DLC. Right?

Idk, I HOPE it includes everything that came out for xbox in one game.

Actually I think I read that ALL DLC will be included in the purchase of the PC version.
I for one am happy, yes the devs are FULL OF CRAP no doubt.
BUT, this is a traditional oldschool horror game of which very few exist these days.

So yeah ill be picking this one up for sure.

What do they mean by with the PC version being shelved? Was this suppose to come out for PC years ago?

lol steam is the only good part of this announcement. an old, overrated game being released on pc at likely full price - what is there to be happy about? steam is the only positive thing...

I can onlyoverclock my Athlon x2 to 2.6ghz... DONATIONS ACCEPTED HERE!! xD

Not only supposed to be released, in 2006 it was the highlight of Intel Developer Forum (link to the demo).
Then they dropped PC support for the game after they had faithfull PC followers tracking the game for years. :shadedshu
