Switched cases and now nothing displays [solved] missing standoffs genius
Found you on Google search on my smart phone
Decided to switch out my very old case for a newer old case this morning. I hooked everything back up perfectly. Except the only issue is I totally accidentally broke the old power button. I did this by not being as careful with my own mechanics as if someone else's. I didn't realize I was pulling up too hard on the psu cable and by doing that snagged the power button cable breaking off the little connector to the cable. The new case power button cable is not compatible.
My motherboard is ASUS E45M1-l Deluxe mini-ITX.
I jumped the motherboard by touching the 2 red pins on the power button port. Everything seems to power on fine Except I get no display on the monitor.
Everything plugged in; psu- both 4 pin cable and the larger cable, data cable, fan, plugged in monitor and psu to the wall.
Again it's on but no display. It's a nice small motherboard I carefully set it in the case and tightened it in. Nothing brass touching, RAM hasn't moved a smidgen, integrated cmos battery I believe.
Apologize for no helpful links. Difficult on my phone. Usually would be more descriptive. Please help! Tons of homework to do!
Thx
