We will see once it comes out. Back in the 4870 days Chiphell also leaked some serious info that nobody here would believe. Turns out 4870 was exactly the way the leaks showed.

Rumors are meant to be taken with a grain of salt. As I said above, back in the days NOBODY here believed that 4870 would have 800SP, they all called BS on the rumors from CHH. Turns out 4870 DID have 800SP.

Don't forget that most graphic cards are made in China or Taiwan, it won't take much for a assembly line manager to get a card out for some fun.

I am hoping RX480 will be around 980 level. For $199 card that should be a good bargain.

Yeah, it's gotten soo bad the past year or so with everything news related on the internet. I suppose I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner with the internet being completely unregulated from a journalistic standpoint. Anyone can buy a bunch of web domains, post clickbait whatever on them and collect the ad revenue. If their sites get shut down, they just buy more.

Reference is on par with what we've been expecting. But that OC is insane if true...

Considering GTX 1080 can run at 1800 MHz, I don't think it is insane. I think AMD is dead set on sticking to 150w and to do that, they're holding back on clocks. If you throw caution to the wind, I think 1400 MHz is entirely feasible.

I wouldn't be surprised if some AIBs ship it with a 8-pin connector and a high factory overclock.

Dammit, you're right. First impression zooming in on it is that it is not tampered with. Then I looked closer at patterns in the larger file and some concerns stand out:
1. [OC] could have been copied from the GTX 1070 line.
2. Both cards end with 94 (copy and paste)?
3. Where did the Titan X go?

The only thing truly unique to the overclocked card is the "(1400)" They could have constructed it from other numbers in the document though so...possible. I put it at 60% legitimate, 40% fake.

If it is a fake, it's very well done.

I actually am part of this "community." It's Korean HW forum called Coolenjoy, which is somewhat like HWcompare per say.

I'm really sorry to drop this bomb, but this is fabricated. The original post here asks the authenticity of the benchmark. The consensus from the forum was that they never released anything like the image.

So assume this is fake. I'm really sorry, but I can't let my brothers be in false hope because of the photoshopped image.
