Benchmark Scores well I've fried a 775' P4 12 years ago, that counts?
No worries. I've bought new and used. The used GPU's have never let me down. (I tend to stick to one brand)

Nvidia shop now offers the card again WITH the 1080 game coupon, delivery 2-3 days.
I ordered it.
[Amazon was messing around with me (unknown arrival, first; today it said in 1-2 months! and it is not the first time that I ordered for a best price of the market only to end up waiting for weeks and weeks until I cancelled,... for me the try to "hook" you here)]

Nvidia shop also offers the option to use your business tax-id, so I finally get this without any tax :)

WOW what a pile of crap pricing! Already $200 and more than MSRP on Amazon. For me this makes it certain to get the Vega. Oh well... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XGM2RLC/?tag=tec06d-20

1080 Ti amazon overpricing.PNG

And yet Newegg still has $699 Amazon has truly gone to hell in a handbasket. Last time around for Prime with me, when it runs out I'm done and not looking back.

I see £729 founders ripoffedition and upwards>£
lowest price is blowjob edition £689.99 ( excuse the piss taking:))

Scan have set the starting price of £699 with free delivery for the founders edition.........Most of what they have on sale are the founders edition.
There are some Ryzen + Mobo + 1080 Ti deals on there though. Not cheap at £1350 :shadedshu:

Newegg had them for $699.00
WOW that was yesterday, almost bought one . Sold out.

Wait you can still get it for the regular price at https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/10series/geforce-store/
I was looking at the Titan Pascal but for almost half the price and same performance the Founders got my attention.

Couldn't resist, looks like my grandson is getting my MSI GTX1080, he won't complain.
Time to look for water cooling for the card.
Update: shipped, the same day. can't beet that, way to go Nvidia.

BF1 at 4k ultra + Gsync at 60hz:
1080ti-bf1.png
My card arrived, very happy. Lot's of things to share and learn and maybe help : )
should we make a "club" or forum thread or stay in 1080 thread, or maybe Titan is better?

So far, what I like most is that I made a "slightly" faster fan profile in Afterburner and I can play BF1 at 4K ultra without back-throttling at circa 1950Mhz and under 70ºC.

Now experimenting with G-sync, Vsync settings in Nv control panel and in game... what a mess oh lord!

Card prices are on the rise again in the UK. £699 for the fondlers edition only. Then up and up the prices go.

Just ordered that Evga kit, testing the stock 1080 Ti I get 20 FPS faster than my super overclocked MSI 1080. Nice for stock. I tried the overclock and quickly maxed to the 83 degree throttling so the cooler install is next.
As soon as I purchased the Evga it went up in price from 115.00 to 119.00. I got the 115.00 locked in. price and demand.

happy to report I did the mod and glad. temps are very low. So far 40C maxed. I'm getting 103.8 average fps in the bench of The Division 2556X1413. (windowed)@144Hz refresh rate. pushed the power limit to the top 120%and temp , upped the core + 150 MHZ memory 150 MHZ and off we go manually set fan to 38% in afterburner,
So it's wicked fast, quiet, cool. Well worth the cost of adding the water cooler.

Adding the water cooler is the way to go. I also added a handful of small aluminum heat sinks on the card, they do help to cool it.

Nice - I've ordered a Watercool block and radiator (both Heatkiller models). Case will be tight but hell, it'll be worth the hassle to get 2Ghz stable on core.
