This thing was selling for like $700 a year ago .I guess it's easy for me because I would never pay that much money for a video card I wouldn't pay that much money for two video cards come to think of it, cuz im a cheap prick :kookoo:

A Volta 2070 or 1170 could be twice as fast, we don't know yet.....

@P4-630 @Jetster The FE is actually the one I want, because this is for my NVIDIA collection, not as my main card (see specs).

Overclockers here in the UK have a crappy b-grade (ie used) with 90 day warranty and no box for £320. I could get one off eBay maybe, but it's not that cheap there either and it's a lot of money for something that will just sit in a collection almost never getting used.

btw, that page errored out in the end and I don't even know if EVGA will ship it to the UK anyway.

Hell no theres nothing wrong with that price, thats my point. If someone had bought a 980ti a year + ago it would cost $700 area, but now $200. Its the early adopters "fee" so to speak, people pay a premium for getting the best stuff early, its that way with everything.

Well the card did launch just over two years ago now @ $650, and was pretty much the best card of the generation.

The entire lineup has been replaced with Pascal and even some of those cards are over a year old now.
