Still focusing on upgrading my CPU+MB+RAM and with the rumor about Vega is pretty good for mining, so yeah the answer is no.

But looking forward to read the review

I would like to have one, just cause they seemed to have abandoned the R9 3xx series. But the only vega I really want, is the Vega FE for not only gaming but workstation stuff as well.

"Sticking with Polaris" and "Not upgrading this round" can have the same meaning in a way. I mean I bought my RX560 two weeks ago or so. Yeah, I am skipping Vega, but you could also say I sticking with Polaris.

I cannot vote.

I have a GTX 1060 6GB and I'm not upgrading to anything any time soon. Perhaps my next GPU will be GTX 3060 (or GTX 1260).
I'm in the same boat: all mid-rangers, only upgrading when performance jumps by 50% or so. I don't see the point otherwise.

That's exactly my reasoning. I'm upgrading only if I get at least a 70% performance increase GPU-wise and 50% CPU-wise. That's why I've been holding on against upgrading from Intel Core i5 2500. Nothing that Intel has released up to this moment (except their HEDT parts which are ridiculously expensive) beats it by 50%. In terms of IPC increase Intel has largely stagnated. Perhaps I will upgrade to Coffee Lake (6c/12t) - that'll be a tremendous increase in multithreaded performance (since I occasionally compile/encode). I'm all for competition but Ryzen hasn't really convinced me at all. My last AMD CPU was Athlon 64 X2 5200+ EE and I bought it only because Intel Core 2 at that time was extremely popular and equally overpriced.

I can confirm that. I went from 2500k to 6600k and the biggest gain was the motherboard. I now have PCIe 3.0, M.2 ports and a few USB 3.1 ports (one of them reversible). SpeedShift has improved so it can deliver cpmputing power faster when needed, but I can't say it makes a noticeable difference.

Waiting for Volta and 2018 OLED TV with HDMI 2.1. OLED itself will be the biggest jump in image quality coming from crappy LCD.

Eh, one day you'll look at OLED's shortcoming with the same disdain and forget about everything it brought to the table when introduced.

I wonder what this (feels incredibly premature) poll looks like before the release and a new one after.....

Yep i'm buying it. Together with a 1950X and 64GB of DDR4 RAM. And a fat-ass SSD while i'm at it as well. There is no better moment to completely upgrade my current AMD system and still have best performance for the best possible price.

I will wait for aftermarket cooling solutions and driver optimization too.
I didn't see so much difference vs my Fury X and didn't seems to be reasonable to got with Vega 64 instead of Vega 56 for a lot of things .
If good partner solutions comes out and drivers too Vega 56 is going to be my pick XD.

Still holding out for non-reference models. If I had to choose now I'd probably go with the 64. Leaning towards the Vega 64 mainly because of the 2nd bios,
