just an upgrade to unlock my 8800gts + i wanted a c2d set up lol

ps i do need to clean the cables up more so dont just say clean your cables up!

So youve 'unlocked' your 8800, did you use the performance BIOS that I post on evo forums m8?

BTW you should consider getting some rounded IDE cables and do away with the flat ones

What is that stuff over your cables? I love it, it really cleans up the power cables.

its some sort of uv reactive sleeving that came on the cables when i got the psu ill b getting some uv cold cathods soon.

" you could fold the ribbon cable behind the mobo, zip them cables aside ( this is not telling to clean them, this is suggesting. ) and question, how do you get 8k when i get 10500 with my e6300 @ 3.0 and 8800gts oc'd :O and i get 315 fps in source, high settings ( non oc'd 8800gts )

You shouldnt worry too much about your Southbridge m8, it only controls the SATA etc and barely gets hot

PS: what speeds did your card go upto after applying the BIOS flash? I got Flash's/Red5's new POV 8800GTS 320mb upto 600MHz/1800MHz
