Intel CEO Brian Krzanich Resigns - For Having Sex With Colleague

I forgot the actual numbers but, CEO's are often sociopaths. They seem to excel in the business world. So, yea, hard for me to find sympathy for him or his millionaire status.

I wouldn't doubt this story is cooked, also. Maybe gives him an air of a "Real Man", or something.

Another example of society correcting by over-correcting. The behavior police are basically over-correcting to leaving almost no way to meet people. If work, that is power abuse (because the underling must be naive and weak). Bars... nope that means alcohol might be involved and thus no consent. Online? No, that might mean misrepresentation and corporate involvement. The park? No way you creep don't wander the park trying to determine what mate is married or caring for a child. I attached the old fashioned way. Sized up my college roommate's girlfriend, subtly advertised how more advanced I was, waited, wasted his time frolfing and playing video games so he wouldn't study and flunked out of school. Bingo... kicked his butt out and his ex-girlfiend in. Happily married 15 years. All ethical and on the up and up.
Does your wife know you savagely sabotaged someone's life? Also I feel like 15 years ago all those things were fine to do lol

No real overcorrection here @ssdpro . He was forced to resign because he violated a company policy (managers are not allowed to fraternize [have relationships] with anyone that is subordinate to them). It was noted that the relationship was consensual, so nothing morally wrong happened here.

No, he was forced out, b/c Intel is scared and investors are getting very worried. They just needed some dirt for an excuse to save face (and probably avoid payouts). This happens at every company every day and people aren't being fired right and left. He's not "performing", so his time's up.

Yeah, they totally just found out about a past relationship. Lol. The lies, today, are so bad.

Dude that guy was pounding it like a flank steak. Title of thread 100% fact. You don't get fired for flirting. You get fired for a board member seeing you getting the gorilla grip from your secretary.

On a side note this guy looks like he was flatting out some chick that looks like Toni Basil. Outfit and all and BAM! CFO walks in and is all like "WTF BRIAN! THATS WHERE I MAKE MY COFFEE!"

Read the original post. It says he was fired because Intel was informed that he had a PAST relationship with another employee. Nobody caught him doing anything. For all we know, their relationship consisted of going to bingo games together.

Yes Im sure they fired the CEO of a billion dollar company because he had an unsanctioned game of Bingo.

I feel sorry for the next CEO of Intel, they can't just drive along with cruise control on; they have to actually get off their lazy butts and do something.

I said "for all we know", and yes, they probably would use that as an excuse to fire someone, since even that is against company policy. If he was seen in a restaurant with her by his boss or hers, same result, even if it was their first date, and he never had the opportunity to have sex with her. The policy is against fraternization - Which is defined as "associate or form a friendship with someone, especially when one is not supposed to". That's a very broadly defined word in this context, and is no doubt enforced very selectively, like when they need an excuse to fire someone, and don't wish to reveal the true reason.

Im thinking he had the fish at this dinner.

So ironic that Intel of Mr. Krzanich did back the moralist feminists(a.k.a. high horsers of the by-gone Clinton Era).

This is what happens when you are put in leadership position but take advantages of everyone and everything under you.

In my opinion they should've put Andy D. Bryant in charge.

What happened to Mrs. Diane Bryant who was at the head of the datacenter group? She had the aura of leadership, imo.

Why are HR-Department hit jobs so below the belt these days?

Did you not get the memo? Bros before Hoes? You straight up broke the bro code. Uncool man. Uncool. If I were that room mate and you did that to me......like straws?

So he is rich and getting laid?

The TPU community will teach him a lesson!

I have to say - the community has changes these last few years. I'm losing sense of the right conduct. There is more derision. This is he;
*Good times...*
(quite a mellow presence, tbh).

Sadly, I have attempted to moderate this thread and have handed-out several warnings (with no points attached). I feel it is a losing battle at this point.
Can we please try to be civil and cut down on the rhetoric? I understand that due to the nature of the topic that my request is almost impossible...
Please try though.

Lots of funny replies here. I love the puns and whatnot, but seriously he knows the policy. Sounds like a dumb policy that goes against human nature, but I'm sure Brian will be okay in the end

Hipocrysy all over this thread. Common guys, If you were a CEO or CIO or CFO and you yould have some overlysexy girls as your subordonates, you are telling me that eventually you wouldn't crack?? Especially if the girls/woman respond back? ;) Common.

you are telling me that eventually you wouldn't crack?
Yeah, I'd probably crack; no doubt about it. It'd take a lot of "won't power" to stop myself, I would have to find a lot of it because a lot of companies are like this. It doesn't matter where you work be it business, retail, or restaurants... it doesn't matter, you'll find that "no dating your co-workers" rule everywhere.

There's a phrase that comes to mind... don't shit where you eat.

Knowing the policy, and abiding by it are two different things, on his salary he could have fired the person he was having sex with and hired them privately, making them a personal sexratary complete with condo.

I wouldn't crack. Never have and I have had women work "under" me for years. If you are married its easy. Just gotta stick to your vows. Now if I were single I would lay the pencil sharpener.

He was having an affair. Brian Krzanich is married + 2.

The face of the company can't be a cheater.

Now if I were single I would lay the pencil sharpener.

Yeah... thinking that's not a good idea my friend. And I'm single.

I'm assuming you married the first pencil sharpener then? My... sympathies.

Ha ha hearing this when I'm listening to Paris Hilton's "Screwed" :o
