Newegg, one of the leading tech-focused e-retailers in North America, now offers professional PC assembly to customers who design their own computers on the Newegg PC Builder. The Company's build-to-order (BTO) offering takes advantage of Newegg's ENIAC in-house computer assembly service to build and deliver fully assembled computers significantly faster than other competitive BTO offerings.

Newegg - with its millions of parts on hand at any given time - can source virtually any build using existing inventory within their network and have the completed PC delivered to customers anywhere in the U.S. This is a significant advantage compared to traditional BTO services that offer limited component selection and typically take weeks to fulfill custom orders. This initial beta phase will generate valuable insight and suggestions that will be used to launch the second phase of Newegg's BTO service, which will come with more perks and options, like laser engraving, to bring further customization and personalization to customers' builds.

Newegg is building custom PCs for gamers needing maximum gaming performance. Custom gaming builds are comprised of the latest computer components such as Intel and AMD processors and RTX graphics cards. These custom gaming computers provide gamers with a high-performance gaming experience.

"Our purpose-built PC assembly line is staffed with skilled technicians," said Vishal Mane, Director of Engineering at Newegg. "With a massive component inventory on hand and a team of skilled builders standing by, Newegg is simply the best option for customers who refuse to compromise on quality and who want their expertly built computers delivered more quickly than any other BTO service."

In June 2020, Newegg rolled out the Newegg PC Builder, the Company's online PC configurator that empowers anyone to design their own custom computer. The Newegg PC Builder was an instant hit with Newegg's customers. Until now, customers would purchase the parts and assemble the computer on their own. While many of Newegg's tech-savvy customers prefer to build their PCs themselves, there's a large unaddressed market of customers who would rather opt for professional assembly.

Mr. Mane continued, "Not everyone who designs their own computer wants to build it themselves. For some it's a matter of convenience. Our new BTO service gives those customers a simple, fast and affordable option to have the computer of their dreams built to spec and delivered to their home."

Building a PC can be a complicated process with near-limitless configuration possibilities. With so many components, brands, specs and compatibility issues, determining the right configuration that suits the customer's usage needs and budget limitations can be a daunting task. The Newegg PC Builder removes the guesswork and makes it easy for anyone to design their dream PC, have it professionally built and shipped to their home in about a week.

It will be only a matter of time before LTT or GamersNexus gets their hands on one for review.

Ltt is too cheap for that.
I've never felt they were cheap, but I'm genuinely and sincerely willing to hear you out if you can provide me with a few examples

Uh huh....

oh yea, he means those twittle-bot skanks they saw standing on the side of the road, waitin for their next unemployment checks to arrive...

or will they be the folks they tried to offer $10-12/hr for crankin away in dirty, hot, crowded amazon warehouse-style clusterfuck of a slave-drone facility ???

No thanks, I'll pass on having one of them build my rig & do it myself like I have for the past 3 decades or so :)

Where and who are they employing to construct and load these while what could be hidden on them (something way worse the Goggle and MS)? While what's the Warranty and customer support availability, that's why folks use boutique builders.

Personally I have seen many people use the Micro Center BTO, and know they have a great Customer Service and even do trade back of part(s) if upgrading within certain periods.

Don't do Egg much anymore, not what they once where... not sure I want some "Alibaba build" and who knows for tech support.

Agreed. I stay away from the Egg with a ten foot pole these days. I do Best Buy or Amazon (direct shipped and sold by). They are the only ones I trust.

Newegg is pretty garbage, Amazon can pretty sketch too honestly. Its not like I'm boycotting either but I try to buy from B&H when I can; selection is pretty good, their prices are pretty competitive usually and they have way better search tools than both.

I would imagine New Egg will just become another "Cyberpower PC" or "IBuyPower". Not sure what their build quality is like now, but years ago those two PC builders had a lot of complaints and their customer support was terrible.
Most of the reliable "custom"(should they even be called that?) PC builders use a very SMALL selection of parts, so customization options are very limited(even more so nowadays). Digital Storm use to offer a decent variety in their customization options, but they ended up cutting out a lot of options(component brand choice, fan types, cases, etc.).

Well this will not help those who are after just a v card if any thing this makes it worse for them.

Newegg has had their own in-house builds for years under the ABS name.

like LTT or GN are the reason behind the worlds GPU shortage (rolleyes.jpg)

I never implied they or newegg were, so WTF. What i was thinking you might catch on to is that priority is going come to a fully built system than a person wanting just a video card.

Like fuck still in the list still today and nothing but yet they have one for fully built systems.

Pssh dude.

I dont see how you managed to drag a comment about getting pre-builts in for review --- Something that both LTT and GN have been doing since walmart started doing their own pre-builts last year to "omgs ppls no get GPUs"

Reviewing a pre-built machine has nothing to do with GPU shortages but you say it like somehow LTT & GN having prebuilt machines in for review will somehow hinder everyone elses opportunity to get a new GPU

yes there is a GPU shortage and No LTT & GN reviewing a pre-built machine wont change any of it even if they can or cant get one in for review. so its silly even drawing some sort of conclusion that they are related.

I am on about frigging LTT and GN.

Newegg is building custom PCs for gamers needing maximum gaming performance

Meaning they have the cards for full system and yet those who been waiting a year + for just a card a lot are still waiting.

agreed.. same here, id rather build em myself as i really enjoy doing it or i would but i sure as heel wont pay the extra cost for assembly when GPUs are 4x MSRP right now, Ill pas, and keep building em my self, nice try newegg,, but NAHH

You are 100% correct! The Egg used to be good but has lost its edge over the past 12-18 months. The Egg has also been blamed for having exercised poor business practices and noticeably having dropped their standards in the all important customer service area. I think that the "On Demand Assembly" is a reach for them. Besides they are not a PC builder by any means and never will be. What they are in a nutshell is a warehouse full of parts and now not even good at that. To bad really as I welcome healthy competition in the marketplace. Even between warehouses!
