What are the advantages of installing the bus driver, the ASIO controller and the 5.1 audio feature and ICE Sound? From the point of view of having only a 2.1 setup (2 speakers 1 bass)? and basically always choosing "Dolby Atmos Speaker System"

edit* can you share your Tuning v3 - Default Preset by AAF Optimus?

Hello AAF Optimus,
Tried with Acer Nitro 5 Laptop (An515-44), problem is I can't switch to the "Headset" mode inside the Realtek Audio Console anymore, which causes me to be unable to use my headset microphone. (Attached Image with original drivers, when I install the AAF driver package, I can only see "Headphone" and don't have the selection menu)

The RTK HD Audio driver test Utility Output of the Original Drivers:
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_15E3&SUBSYS_14551025 (Presumably Nvidia Audio / GTX 1650)
Running <= HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0295&SUBSYS_10251455&REV_1000\5&2B078D7C&0&00
Driver return version = 8928 <<6.0.8928.1>> (Original device driver, fully working @ Acer.com)
Driver return InternalName = RTKVHD64.sys 8928
Driver running model = Unknow model index 10252019
Power Data: Bus(D3), Codec(D3)

Device Manager Hardware IDs for Realtek(R) Audio
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0295&SUBSYS_10251455&REV_1000
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0295&SUBSYS_10251455

Attaching my rtkdaud.dat if it's of any importance (Get Policy Driver and saved via RTK HD Audio driver test Utility)
If anything else is needed, just reply to me or send me a pm

Hi, i have a asus rog strix x870e, have ALC4080, can use the mod drivers?, thx for all!

With lastest driver I can use my P3 microphone, but when I try to play any media in whatsapp app, it freezes, also I get some strange noises when playing any streaming app which make they unusable. Same happen when I play channel test in realtek console, any way to fix?

Hi Alan
I would like you to update the version of the "DTS Studio Sound" driver
A new version is available mainly for HP PCs and notebooks
I remember that I had an HP notebook model d030br, and the main driver where it was compatible was version 2.0.0, if I'm not mistaken
You can probably find it in the old alanfox2000 drivers, which was 100% compatible with my machine
Because the DTS Studio Sound driver is very old, compared to the version of your audio drivers for DTS
Could you put it as legacy or as standard along with the Realtek Audio Console audio API?
I agree that the audio was very crystal clear and very sharp, much sharper than the audio driver I use with Dolby Audio on my current computer
Thanks in advance!

Good game @AAF Optimus 'if the above is true', I finished my project already nothing but Realtek files to update.
Hopefully you are in the same position now, better for you, better for the consumer overall.

In some cases some devices may not like certain features, you can only publish mostly universal :)
The Realtek task is the only complaint I could address, I see you have also addressed it.

In terms of the service data (.inf), I also redone (renamed) the endpoint and FX registry entries.
I also removed all typelibs data from APO's, and set the flags to a universal mode (4).

If you get future issues these are things you can change and test, regardless, grats 'if the above is true'.

====

If I program USB headphones with Realtek + DTS APO's, the Realtek panel shows headphones with working features, same for DTS.

hi alan, how do i enable sound to come out of laptop speakers? i installed the driver and sound only comes from audio jack with headphones and not laptop speakers. i used dolby atmos for gaming and it is working. hp omen 15.

@AAF Optimus does this apply to ASUS Xonar A.E ?
Hardware IDs :
USB\VID_0B05&PID_180F&REV_0102&MI_00
USB\VID_0B05&PID_180F&MI_00

@dcbrazz, laptops are one of those 'can be different' devices, still maybe AAF has some advice or workaround.
@Broom2455, USB is not HDAUDIO, plus its an Asus not Realtek, no x 2 sadly. *

* The APO's will probably work if you manually programmed the USB, but they wont install.

@Ferather . Okay, just a thought. Thanks for the heads up

It's possible for @AAF Optimus to make a more universal APO installer, like he had once. As long as all the files are installed and registered its a case of programming the endpoint.
Ideally the user should configure the endpoint them self, opposed to overriding the system defaults. Its all a bit of work though, as you need to include a guide.

Its possible to add services and create phantom devices (attach extensions and software components). An example for AAF is here.
It creates a phantom system device, with software points already attached, and services via .reg file.

The user runs the installer, and programs the desired endpoint(s) via edited .reg(s). Many APO's can support USB, some don't care and only bother with form factor.

so how do i fix my issue of no sound on laptop speakers only via headphone jack?

Normally the installed driver would setup a SSTPPCfg that is relevant for your device, although it could be the devices policy, and-or hardware circuiting, I don't know.

It's almost impossible to pin point which SSTPPCfg you need, first from original driver files, then trial and error to find the exact key.
Even after finding the original SSTPPCfg and adding it to the driver, it could cause problems with other devices.

Normally laptop speakers count as 'Internal' and not 'External' jack, so maybe @AAF Optimus can address it, maybe not (due to conflicting config).
