Going beyond competition Razer today released the new Destructor gaming-grade mousing surface made for optical and laser mice types. In response to the gaming communities search for improvements in mousing technologies, Razer has co-developed the Razer Destructor with some of the best pro-gaming teams in the world. The end result is a 350mm (length) x 280mm (width) x 2.3mm (height) mousepad which will cost you US:$39.99/Europe: €39.99. "Other gaming-grade surfaces today lack the ability to truly accommodate gaming optical and laser sensors," says Robert "Razerguy" Krakoff, president of Razer. "The Razer Destructor is designed specifically for gaming mice. Where other gaming surfaces fail, the Razer Destructor shines through and gives gaming mice the ability to achieve the tracking ability that they are designed for."

A mousepad that costs as much as some games.

Razer :nutkick: Us

Bah, bloody rip-off once again, and not only because the product is already expensive.
US price: $39.99
European price: €39.99
xe.com says $39.99 is actually €27.18. Bastards... one more company ripping us off.
EDIT:
Just calculted it, and VAT 17.5% added on to €27.18 is €31.9365

Stupid companies ripping us off.

on topic - gaming mouse.. yea ok i can take that, gaming mouse mat... what?

I'll probablly buy it.:shadedshu On sale of course.

I played with out a mouse pad for months and i was happy :D

I played with out a mouse pad for months and i was happy :D

That explains why I've been 0wning you for so long... :p

But seriously, Razer mouse pads are the best. I've tested mice over a dozen different mats, from the cheap cloth pads all the way to expensive glass mats and even plastic credit-card thin surfaces, but none of them beat my current aluminum Razer eXactMat. Believe what you want to believe about Razer, but they've got their sh*t together when it comes to gaming mice and mouse pads. :rockout:

I am on a plain alsop Wal-Mart Special mouse pad and it does just fine. Hell, I can go older and dig out my Duke Nukem 3d mouse pad, it still works fine too. How the hell can a mouse pad fix anything?

I will admit you will have better precession on a hard wood surface, but the hell if I go spend that kind of money on a mouse pad. That mouse pad better have a wrist warmer and led lights with a checker/chess board on the opposite side when you flip it over (checkers and chess pieces must also be included).

If you have your mouse sensitivity through the roof, or a highly precise mouse, a good pad is a must. It's another one of those "must see to believe" kinda things. I even thought most people were out of their minds, spending that kind of money on a mouse pad, until I actually tried one . . .

Unless you name is Johnathan "Fatal1ty" whatever his last name is, you have no business spending the money/needing a mouse pad like this.:wtf:

Gaming grade mouse pads are about as gimmiky as a FATAL1TY 8500GT PROFESSIONAL 1337mb OMG H@X MAXIN GAMES EDITION

Yeah maybe this will be my next one.

I have the razer eXactMat and i love it, hadnt a better one before (speedpads etc... all crap),
and no need for silicon spray. Have it for 3years now i think,
and it was worth the 35€

Everyone saying its bs and too expensive never tested it with an good mouse.. :-P
