This looks like a top shelf psu! 35A on the single 12V, PFC, 82% efficiency, 100,000 MTBF, 5yr. warranty. This is more like what I wanted when I bought my 470. I filled in the gap when the 610 when it became available, with no complaints @ $120. The 500 a sub $100 psu? With it's specs and it's possible price point, it will be a worthy psu.

Yes I also bought the dell silencer 470 for my old dell.It never missed a beat.

PC P&C doesnt do Modular cabling. This is nice, I really liked their first 500w psu back in the day. Im glad to see more affordability for the mainstream user.

Woo hoo! It is about time these guys put out more affordable power supplies. This will add to the competition in the sometimes scary low-end range for power supplies. I may be able to finally justify buying my first PC Power and Cooling product!!

By the way, I see they offer a 5 year warranty on these units. That tells me that they are still using quality parts to build them.

It's a Seasonic. Same platform as the Corsair HX520. Good, but it's not like it's a Turbo Cool. Just a guess, but I would imagine that the 120MM+ cooled Seasonic PSU's are still going to be quieter than this "Silencer".

It looks like they're all under $100 btw... just noticed they sell direct and their price tag for the 500 is $99.00

Yeah, I checked that already (was how I got those sub $100 prices) but it has them all as out of stock.

Im sad OCZ bought them... Looks like PC Power & Cooling is gonna be just like all the rest.

One of the things I loved about my 510 was "It RULED!" is wasent just good, or like the rest It fricken Ruled.

I think its a shame to see a Top End Product be brought into just the Good or Average market.

pc p+c were never there own manuf they purchased off of oem's

the quality is still there

Well the HX650 is a 100 after mail in rebates, so why wouldnt people just go for that instead, one of the most stable and impressive on the market.
