Windows 2000 Pro SP4 Rollup 1!!!

Mods:
Many HS added to MSI9105! 7900GS is underclocked to 432/324Mhz 3D/2D Core with 625Mhz Mem. The Heat Spreaders have been removed from these Tualatin P3's and Evercool Heatpipes added http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=HPA-C715 This box runs fine up to 1.666Ghz, however the NIC can't handle the PCI clock over FSB151Mhz. The PCI clock is OC'd from 33 to 38Mhz.

whats funny is that these P3s will outperform P4s up to about 2.4ghz

Well, considering that Pentium Ms were basically modified P3 architecture chips, and those outperformed Pentium 4s left right and centre, especially in gaming, and even beat A64s at times, then it's easy to see the P3 still being a powerful little processor.

Always wanted a dual P3 system for running a server. They can run off low-wattage PSUs, and can run pretty well under passive heatsinks (ran a 1GHz P3 under a passive 'sink just fine, with a couple of 120mm fans in the case creating airflow).

I have to say, I don't understand why they don't do with current CPUs what they did with P3s. Add the ability to go the SMP route with mainstream CPUs. Sure, it means companies can get cheap, fast, multi-processor systems, without resorting to Xeons, but consumers would likely buy more Intel stuff that way. I can see people buying two cheaper Q9400s, or what-not and putting them together in a cheaper version of a Skulltrail motherboard.

Good (long life) floppy drives are hard to find...this one was salvaged from an old HP Vectra - HP liked to integrate face plates into the front fascias at the time.
