Sapphire X800 GTO AGP pipe unlock

I love the Omega Drivers. Never had an issue with them and they are slick. Someone recommended them to me and they stuck. Anyone else have something good/bad to say about omega drivers? Maybe a better alternative?

Check your fuses & then go to this thread to download the bootable cd image with the modded BIOS

I did exactly this and unlocked my Sapphire x800 GTO. It was very easy and worked perfectly.

Double check the pdf file that comes in that bootable cd archive and make sure your card looks the same.

Just make sure it all matches up or you may screw your card!

Prostak, here you are your BIOS moded to 16 pipes. Use atiflash in DOS mode (bootable floppy disk or USB flash drive) with atiflash and the BIOS (unpaked) on it.

Use the following command line: atiflash -f -p -newbios 0 X80GTO16.bin

After the flash check the number of pipes (if still the same uninstalll and install again the ATITool)

Now with 16 pipes try the max overclock of the card core/memory (with ATITool). After finding the maximums you can edit the 16 pipe BIOS with RaBit and to set new core and memory (lower with 10-15MHz than the max. stable discovered with ATITool) speeds. Finaly just flash this new "overclocked" BIOS to your card and have fun. If you plan to overclock the card you have to think for better cooling.

I unlocked my Sapphire X800 GTO AGP card to 16 pipes like a year or so ago. It ran fine until it started showing artifacts in games. Now it shows artifacts on 2D stuff. I flashed it back to the original BIOS, but it still shows the same problems. Is there a way to fix it? I think it is pretty much completely broken now.

Dolf if you have time can you help me? I can post whatever info you need on my card. I have no way into dos accept trhough a bootable cd and I can burn one. let me know what you need. I attached some items that may help
