12v Mobo connector got burnt?

Today, I noticed that 3 holes of the 12v connector on the mobo got burnt and so the 12v cable itself, 1 of the small cable changed color slightly (brown->darker brown).

The PC's operating normally, I don't have any crashes, or lock-up. I'm wondering is this something really serious?

Yeah, the thing is I really can't have any down-time for my pc. So, I want to make sure first, then I will go ahead and buy another PSU, and RMA this one.

I`v had multiple situations at work. I`m not to sure why it is happening. Because the systems don`t have nothing common. I would guess that is bad contact.

It usually happens when there isnt good contact between the push pin and the socket it slides into causing a rise in amperage. Make sure on your power connector that some of the pins are not pushed back into the connector when you connect it.
