2011 Must have trio

i can't wait for

skyrim
diablo 3
dragon age 2

keep in mind that there is news out there from yesterday that Diablo III is NOT a planned release for 2011, LINK

Mass Effect 3
L.A Noire
Dragon Age 2
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Retribution

Crysis 2 has potential

Star Wars: The Old Republic is another one. I know it's a MMO, but the writer from the original Mass Effect penned it and Bioware spent $300 million developing it which is more than James Cameron spent on Avatar.

Well I am cautiously optimistic, one of the things I like most is that the NPC's actually talk to you, that and the fact it's Star Wars.

i am definitely looking forward to SWTOR - this will be my new mmo addictoin, and i have in fact been staving off my mmo urge so that i can devote all my attention to this game when it comes out.
however, like hardstuff said, i am also cautiously optimistic. i hope its everything i want it to be, but doubt it will be.

1st: Red Orchestra: Heros of Stalingrad.
2nd: IL 2 Sturmovik - Cliffs of Dover (Storm of War - Battle of Britian)
3rd: Duke Nukem Forever.

my trio is DNF for all 3 platforms

After what they did with the movie, the series is dead to me, and I will not be buying the game any time in the near future.

Lol. So youre going to base future games off of what they did to a movie? Thats the most retarded thing I have ever heard of. All the games have been great and the next game in the series is made by the same people that made the previous. There is no reason for it to suck.

EDIT: I thought the movie was great but thats just my opinion. Even if it were a "bad" movie, thats no reason to bash the game series that has had the same developers since the first installment.

I think it's time for another Hitman title. another Splinter Cell title would be nice too.

SC is in the works I do believe.

What i dont get is that the first game was released in 2000. Then every 2 years after the previous except for after they got done with Blood Money. Now its what, a 6 year gap?

I heard it on a couple podcasts.

Electronic Arts is betting big on The Old Republic, admitting it's the biggest investment the company has ever made in a game, and some reports peg the price tag at more than $300 million. Whatever the cost, EA has positioned itself to reap all of the game's rewards. In November, the company inked a new deal with LucasArts to take on full marketing, publishing, and distribution responsibilities.
