hi,
yes i upgraded Ram from Gskill Ripjaw 4 4x2gb 2133mhz to Corsair Vengeance 8gbx2 2400(XMP2.0) (non kit)
after purchasing RAM i have done 2 stability test,
one was memory diagnostics test and second was PRIME95 with full ram of 12 hours non stop, no error.
then i thought that its ok to run,
its been month now, i see every 3-4th day of first boot a BIOS instablity message,
i always forget to take shot, but msg looks like that,
something cause instability or power button error or hold button, etc something like that i really forgot what was the msg exactly, but after pressing f1 and first boot of window i see ram got from 2400 to 2133 and after another restart ram goes to 2400,

i have played gta 5 with ultra settings for about 4 hours non stop.
i have never got blue screen,i have never got any freeze
so please help me, this msg annoy me,

also please tell me how to check bios log,
i have checked windows event log,
i have saw so many errors regarding DIsturbed COM and DHCP client errors,
is that can major cause of that bios error?

one more thing, i want to add, i have noticed hearing crackling sparking sound very high pitch slow sound coming from UPS, is that can also cause of BIOS error?

Usually an UPS should make your system more stable. Maybe it's torn (although mine from APC works since almost 20 years)?
Try a while without it.

I have no idea though if there is a connection to your BIOS issue.

It's probably an issue with the system not POSTing properly. It's possible a newer BIOS might fix the issue or perhaps it is very slightly unstable(however you may not see the symptoms anywhere else).

I will try to show to service center, place is too far away from my location,
That really strange situation, its not like if im playing game and restarted and the bios instability msg appreard, not like that,
The msg only appear few days late in first boot.. i have stopped xmp for while let me see results for few days

That is really most difficult and annoyinng thing i ever seen, i mean if i try to fix one error, another appears, i think we cant get error free life xD

If im honest i'm using a ancient system so i am a little new to these new systems

RAM looks perfectly fine and is within the i5 6600k range (in terms of supported clock speed). s just check you've got the voltage set right, check on the box what the correct voltage is. If you are pushing it slightly i've often used on setting higher in voltage to no ill effect, so you might want to try this if it is set right.

I would otherwise attempt to contact Asus to see if there is a newer BIOS to sort out this issue

Asus boards bios's are flaky at best, I ALWAYS have issues after time.

Do your board a favour and re-flash the bios.. think of it as a refresh, the bios after time just go weird after time.

To your question about your UPS , absolutely it can cause issues especially if it's not giving the system clean stable power.

Anyways try a re-reflash and try that.

No your running an old AMD system.. you can't compair old tech to newer tech and spit out "your the exception" :slap:

@OneMoar yep it started back with Z87 and up. Christ I had to flash the Z270 twice in one day after screwing around in the bios.

Now that would indicate a problem, what are your RAM timing settings in the BIOS?

Benchmark Scores They're pretty good, nothing crazy.
Its probably a bios safety switch kicking in thinking it detected a failed OC. Asus is pretty aggressive with those, and if my PC loses power for more than 15 minutes (like unplugged) it will throw the warning; it will be fine and is 100% stable if you leave it plugged in.

I havent set timing i have just applied xmp profile of 2400mhz, stock timing, i will show you. Finding screenshot from phone..
thats really strange because i play gta 5 4 5 hours continue, havent saw any freeze or strange thing while runing since bought, i have even tested blend mod of prime95 for 12 hours all was fine. But that bios instability error giving unenjoyable experience..
Edit
Here are screenshot of ram from cpuz

When it comes to hardware issues, there used to be a way to clear NVRAM but most just try to clear CMOS by removing the battery for 30 seconds.

Also, before buying any ram, its always prudent to check the motherboards QVL list to make sure its meets the requirements.

When it comes to hardware issues, there used to be a way to clear NVRAM but most just try to clear CMOS by removing the battery for 30 seconds.

Also, before buying any ram, its always prudent to check the motherboards QVL list to make sure its meets the requirements.

I use the jumper pin still

This is starting to sound like an internal static electricity discharge or something similar. A bad cap or poor soldered joints close enough to arc to each other when the buildup is large enough, or even corrosion build up inside a switch. Whatever it is, it would be fun to figure this one out. :D
