The AA problems killed the 3870 for me I bought mine days after release date (lesson learned) and while I can play most any game just fine I still feel it falling below my expectations. I would buy another 3870 but I'll just sell my whole system instead and get something else.

A single 3870 just isnt enough balls to run all my games @ 1680x1050.

Well the 3870 price has gone down on newegg making a easy to crossfire for less than 150.00. Also i finally installed my 3870X2 woks great. Just need a bigger PSU to add my other 3870 in triple crossfire. Im very happy with the 3800 series its plays my games great. 4800 will have to wait a bit more.

My 3870 performs great on every game I have played, but I don't do Crysis and some of the other challenging ones. No need to change until it takes a performance drop or dies!

Will wndows XP run a 3870x2 + 3870 in tri crossfire, or do i need vista to get it to work?
