$500~ dollar gaming PC?

meh id still take my build cheaper same performance

gives a triple core which has a chance to unlock to a quad, better powersupply then anyone else so far, same gpu motherboard is 125w capable and can take a Phenom II x6 if needed, also managed to fit in a 1terabyte F3 samsung which are still one of the fastest drives on the market

seems to me ppl still are only equally what i put out but need to do so with lower and slower hardrives and crappy psus lol

also almost every build so far is at the limit before shipping im under it with shipping included

Triple core will do nicely for games too and the potential of unlocking to quad is bonus to.
If it saves money then i would get the triple core and spend extra bucks on a better mobo. The NZXT Beta got better cable management compared to the Xigmatek.

yes it does but its a low wattage Antec PSU is 430w continuous with 1 PCIE plug its not gonna need a lot of cable management

and ive built a few rigs with the Asgard II its got more room then ppl think

Total Time spent on the build below was 45mins assembling and with USB Win7 install 45mins installing windows and getting basic apps and drivers installed and tested for stability.

Xigmatek Asgard II
AMD Athlon II x4 Quadcore 3.0ghz CPU
Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333mhz Ram
Asus M4A87TD USB 3 Motherboard
Gigabyte ATi 5670 1gb GPU
Western Digital 500gb HDD
Asus Dual layer DVD burner
Corsiar 430w CX PSU
Windows 7 64bit

Thats looking really good. But the only thing is what is this "green ram" that is supposedly cheaper?

Both sets are sold out. You need to pay more for the ram now... maybe they'll come back by the time you order.

yea if the ram comes back on sale it would drop my suggest down to under $470 for parts $480 shipped or there about, to bad it sold out.

so what is the finalized build going do be? i like crazyeyesreapers build BUT that PSU....i dont know!!!

its Antec more solid then most of the ones listed so far,

and unlike anyone else in this thread i can actually if it MUST be done to please ppl add a BETTER PSU, i just dont think its neccesary a 6850 uses like 10more watts then a 5770

as of right now im the only person under the $500 budget with Shipping included from what ive seen.

not to mention the Antec unit is usually $60 so id take a $60 antec at $40 over a $40 Rosewill or Raidmax.

I added a 5770 and then a 6850, and i know as you that the power consumption can be handled by a 450Watts power supply, but we were more thinking in the fact that he could change the processor in the future and then if the frames per second are not enough in games, add another graphics card. And btw this discussion is getting too long, the guy just needs a PC
