that was the Vmod for the 5830 from what ive seen. unless you can put up a link.
Yep, but they are all the same, 5830, 5850 and 5870 all use that same blue PCB & XFX just colored black (and maybe even powercolor/club3d with red color).
But if you don't have a volt meter, there's no point in this or any other volt mod. If it was a resistor that you could just pencil over, then if you'd be very brave with trial and error you could raise it just a bit (notice better OC, but not insane temps).
