We don't know your system specs but if your system and graphics card are powerful enough to push the fps to a steady 70~72 fps turn off vsync and use RTSS to lock the fps @ 70~72fps.
Asrock x370 K4
R5 1600
Ati 7770 (soon I will buy much stronger Ati - Polaris - Vega )
Win10
1) I was anyway thinking ti using RTSS because of this (seems much better to have this open form startup than to change frequencies constantly in windows settings):

Is it necessary to lock fps to 1 fps below monitor frequency, in this case it is 71fps?
So when using RTSS in that way I won`t have any tearing, input lag will be normal and all other variables (I tried Metro LL, vsyn off and frame limiter to 71, so far so good) ?
Would also help if I for older games (when vsync off) use enhanced sync (I think that is the right name) so I don`t have to change frequency too often? Let say I turn off vsync and activate freesync + enchanced sync?
2) Also I have one more problem with this monitor:
Freesync ON in monitor OSD: - When I turn on PC no signal until welcome screen (when welcome screen is shown in left corner there is a HDMI input sign)
Freesync OFF in monitor OSD: - I can enter BIOS and see whole boot procedure
Why is that? Is it because motherboard (I will change it soon)? Maybe because my current gpu doesn`t support freesync?
Other problem is that after I turn on PC and boot into windows I will always hear a "device connected sound" and after that on my monitor there will be big number "1" like it is identifying display. Any solution to this?
