BTW you are using 1% low FPS. That has nothing to do with average performance and I can't remember any instances of slow down for any Gaming scenario. I mean when TWWH3 is doing end turn instructions it goes into the 30s but that is because the CPU is doing most of the work. When you pair it with a proper CPU you are good to go. I don't care what anyone says my 7900X3D is perfect for my 7900XT. 5.7 GHZ when there is no Vcache support and 5.1 GHz when VCache is supported. Even 5800X3Ds do not show what the 7900XT can do. Going from a 5800X3D to 7900X3D meant 2-4 more GB VRAM usage at all times in Gaming. That means that everything is being done faster as the CPU can keep up to the VRAM buffer. At 4K that is more important than any other resolution. This means that 4K is nothing but butter but 100 FPS average is nothing. Trust me AM5 X3D is that fast. There are not a lot of "official" reviews for the 7900X3D but it solved the one caveat to the 5800X3D. Boost clock. The 4.45 GHZ limit on the 5800X3D limits it vs AM5 but especially at 65 Watts with the 7900X3D.7900XT drops below 60 fps in tons of new games, even drops below 40 fps at 4K/UHD it would be a terrible choice for 4K/UHD at 144 Hz.
I guess Steam HW Survey speaks for me, 4070 Ti outsold 7900XT 5:1
I know how AMD drivers are, I use all kinds of hardware, all the time. Building PCs for others and testing stuff all the time. Nvidias drivers are better without a doubt.
So you think 7900XT will do well for 4K/144Hz gaming?
