I have a palit 780ti the standard nvidia type shape.
I mite sound stupid but to do sli on my card do i need to have the same type card? As in will a 780ti jet stream
work being not the same style card?:lovetpu:

As long as it's a 780 ti of some description it should work. It's possible to get weird vbios issues, but not that likely.

Should work? So is it best to match up palit 780ti to palit 780ti?

Your current Palit 780 Ti will pair in SLI with any 780 Ti.

"Should" as in a high degree of probability so don't worry about it. Just pointing out that shit happens sometimes if there's an error in the product or the driver.

If you're really worried about this then just get two of the same model which guarantees it, but I think it's unnecessary.

HELP!!!!!! I need directions on what to do:wtf::lovetpu:

We've explained what to do. What are you worried about?

Yeah should do. Nothing is guaranteed, but it's very unlikely to fail so if you want it go for it

That Palit is a 780 ti? That bit is critical, the variant isn't.

I have a Galaxy and ASUS GTX780 in SLI, one is factory OC, other is vanilla nVidia spec. Both work just fine in SLI.
