I say this because the IntcAudioBus driver has WHQL signatures, while my driver package has a self-signed certificate chain signature. Therefore, Windows will give preference to WHQL drivers.
On Win10 19045.5440 I installed the following parts:
Realtek ASIO Controller
Realtek Patched
DTS:X Ultra with DTS Sound Unbound
Nahimic
All along I couldn't solve a problem, that is, Spatial Audio would be turned off after the computer restarted, and it would not stay in DTS:X Ultra.
I reinstalled the system, reinstalled AAFFamilyDCHAudioPack(last version) countless times, and tried various combinations, but sometimes it gets worse: DTS:X Ultra will not even appear in Spatial Audio! At this time, you need to manually start DTS Sound Unbound twice: the first time will make DTS:X Ultra appear in Spatial Audio, then you can switch manually, or run DTS Sound Unbound again to switch Spatial Audio to DTS:X Ultra.
I have observed the running status of the processes in the task manager after the computer restarts. DTS Sound Unbound will appear in the background process and last for about a minute, then disappear, and then DTS:X Ultra will appear in the Spatial Audio (sometimes it will not appear), but it will not automatically switch to it unless you switch manually, or manually run DTS Sound Unbound once or twice...
I have been trying to solve this problem since last year. After redoing the system and reinstalling and updating AAFFamilyDCHAudioPack to no avail, I frantically searched for solutions online, including but not limited to setting Spatial Audio to DTS:X Ultra by default in the registry, wanting to use an automatic script to wait a few minutes after the computer restarts and run DTS Sound Unbound again in the background without UI(Can't do it), or using SoundVolumeView.exe to switch. Using SoundVolumeView is the closest I have ever come, because I can switch to Windows Sonic with the following command, but I can't switch to DTS:X Ultra
SoundVolumeView /SetSpatial "DefaultRenderDevice" "{b53d940c-b846-4831-9f76-d102b9b725a0}" works, It helps me switch the spatial sound from OFF to Windows Sonic.
SoundVolumeView /SetSpatial "DefaultRenderDevice" "DTS:X Ultra" not work, According to the description on the software release page, under normal circumstances, as long as DTS:X appears in the spatial sound options and is switched manually, the software should be able to do it.
I also tried some tutorials online that said to uncheck "Application Exclusive" and "Audio Enhancement" in the advanced properties of the audio, but these can only make the spatial sound automatically switch to Windows Sonic after restarting.
Is anyone here having the same problem as me?
Dear author, do you have any good suggestions?
