Advice on first Custom Loop

I got the Rad and Pump on order, so as soon as they come in I will try and get some more pics up. I will dig out the CPU block later today. I am still teetering on keeping the 4690K or dropping down to the 4590S (65 tdp)....... One side says yes, other side says 4690K is only 86 tdp, and has unlocked multi, so I could always down-clock and under-volt ....... thoughts?

Mini-ITX im never going back there lol.

If your not gonna over clock it then go with the 4590S CPU, to use a 4690K in a steam box kinda over kill IMHO but its up to you. It will be there if you ever need it, I always find it handy having more then one and different sockets too. I buy bent pin mother boards to keep me busy when I'm not working, keeps me off the streets out of trouble. Like you said you can under clock it, I'd leave it at default with all power savings on. That way when you need it the CPU will ramp up, but when you don't it backs itself down(purely personal really).

I haven't forget about this. I did in fact pick up the 4590S a while back, but never updated this. It's been slow moving trying to piece everything together. Trying to get a rad/fan directly next to the PSU proved to be difficult. But I did get a 92MM black ice rad in there with clearance for the PSU cables while still having a scythe slimline 120 fan on top using a 92 to 120 adapter. The RAD should yield me about an additional 10TDP of overhead, as the GPU is rated at 145, and CPU is at 65, I have a total of 210 and the RAD is rated up to 220, so I am barely there :). I am using a Phoybia Micro pump with a teeeny tiny light tower Res from alphacool. Everything will just fit.

I will get some good pics up soon. I am waiting for some small right angle 90's from frozencpu to arrive so I can route my inlet and output from the rad while trying to clear the 92 to 120 adapter bracket.

Okay, here are some PICs:
