Make shure that in Atitool the fan control is set to 100%.

more likely that atitool 0.25 beta 14 will be right, set the fan control to 100% and make sure there is enough airflow in and out this case. also remove it from direct sunlight, and if it is store in a small area, put it some where else, pcs need lots of air

the best atitool for x800/x850 cards is the older tried and tested none beta..

u only need the beta for messing with x1000 series cards.. from my experience it dosnt work properly with them anyways so i dont use it period.. the old none beat works a treat with my x850 card thow.. why folks use beta (unproven) software when they dont have to is beyond me to be honest..

beta for x1000 series cards.. none beta for 800/850 cards is the way to go..

they are signs that the card is overheating or overclocked..

90c would be too hot.. 65c perfectly normal..

if you use the none beat atitool i think you can trust the temperature reading to be correct..

try not useing atitool at all.. just run the card with the ati default settings.. see what happens..

Question N2 - decrease the core clock to 500MHz or less and try again. If the problem remains just change the thermal compaund between the core and the cooler.
