Yes it does support 1080p...
it is the best monitor I have ever seen as far as picture quality goes and there is NO LAG, one look and you will be impressed...I originally planned on returning it with in the 30 day period for my cash back figuring it wouldnt be able to game well ,boy was I surprised , after i hooked it up it took all of about 5 seconds to realize that this baby is a real keeper !!!!
