Hello Guys.

I really need help im done .

The Card is new and i bought it from Alternate.

1 XFX 16GB RX 6900XT Merc319 Limited Black / SN: 1 x WXV041045 - Is the listed document from Alternate.

So my problem is, the Card does not boost Properly, like the Card boosting very inconsisten and i think it got the Wrong bios, cause when i Put GPU-Z on it says that:
So GPU Z Shows me this card: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/xfx-speedster-merc319-rx-6900-xt-black.b8675
but thats not the limited black edition, but the limited edition bios is like fucking up my perfomance.

(LITTLE QUICK INFO - IF I PUT THE BIOS SWITCH TO POWER IT SAYS THIS BIOS VERSION: "020.001.000.060.000000"
IF I PUT THE BIOS SWITCH AWAY FROM THE POWER CONNECTORS: "020.001.000.046.000000" )

I Switched Bios and it was a bit better but way under the Perfomance what it should like, it just draws a Power usage of like 250 Watts, normally its like 330-350.

Whats wrong with my Card? i think thers a Bios problem where the card really dont know anymore when to boost or maybe its the wrong Freq. cauz its throttling. With my main bios sometimes i have like in Farcry only 80 Watt usage and poor performance on the Normal Bios which goes to the Power Adapter.

Little info to my System:

Asus TUF X570 Plus WIFI
Gskill 4000 Ram - running on 3800/1900.
my GPU as above.
AMD Ryzen 5800X3D
Running on Windows 11 with Rufus optimized. No Secure Boot. No TPM

Those 2 cards (black vs black limited) have a different gpu core. They are not the same card. One has the Navi 21 XTX chip and the other Navi 21 XTXH. One bios you have is for the XTX and the second for the XTXH. If you bought the card recently and was described as brand new, return it and do not reflash it/open it etc. If you can't return it, you need to find out what variant it really is so you might need to open it to see the engraving on the chip.

The engravings:
XTX variant: 215-121000167
XTXH variant: 215-121000247

I hope there is an easier way to tell them apart like cooler differences or the number of power connectors but I don't know for those 2.

Thank you for youre reply.
I mean its like pretty much new but its 2 years old. Sorry my bad.
I had the Card open 3 Months ago to replace the paste and successfully with -10Celsius.

So i made a Video, but no idea where i can find that engravings.
The info i got is that;
On the backside (Which are the Cooler) a little Sticker which says;
B0-69XT83CB-NTK
N2130S-0-Q

Frontside:
VPEAD412572PS14 <- Directly under the GPU Chip.
200802HJA <- is above the PCIE contacts and above that is again a sticker with: 000000000025459484 - ZD0417

So im pretty sure its the Correct XTXH version.

What should i do?

the card boosts completely normal in the screenshot since it is barely utilized and pulls not a lot of power.

Theres the Test again.
As you can see the Chip power, the Voltage are hella Spiking. My frames are on 200 but if he clocks back from 1.2V to 0,875 it gets down to 100-125ish and its Laggy as hell.

2Years ago as i bought it the first game i was testing was RDR2 on M;AX Settings on 1080P i think and i got 150FPS to 160FPS with a Powerdraw of 350 Watts. ^^ So theres something horribly wrong, no idea what.

Check your adrenaline settings to make sure it’s not limited there in any way, it does not look like the card is fully taxed by what you are running.

DDU your system and install the latest adrenalin driver afterwards.
Also check if you have trash software on your system such as armpry crate, iCue, MSI center etc.

If nothing helps, can you stabilize/push the card using the MPT?

Simple Question what are you using for testing?

if it was working properly before, when it started having problems? what did you change in the card or system?
