I'm eagerly waiting reviews on AMD's end to see where things all land. Hopefully they can best or at least equal the performance of a 3070 with a better price point.

Looks great! Basically it's better at "normal" graphics processing, but worse in ray tracing. Me, don't care about RT for now, so I'm down with RX 6k.More collected 3DMark numbers here:

Or maybe most games are not optimized enough so that AMD cards could gain enough from those. As far as I remember, regarding concurrent cards, AMD is usually better in raw power. It's not AMD's fault that developers don't spend enough time to optimize their games. BTW, what shows a cards power more realistically: a benchmark program developed for specific measurements or an unoptimized game?

6800XT has the cut-down 72CU. So, the 6900XT could end up at least 10-15% faster than this. Let's see if RDNA2 is the best gaming gpu arch ever. Just a few days remain.

That is about what I thought it would be. Ray Tracing performance goes to Nvidia, pure rastorization performance could lean AMD.

If you read all articles about AMD written by TPU you can answer by yourself. AMD didnt gave them their high end CPU to test and this will happen to gpu

Well, while this makes things interesting I will hold out my excitement until we see independent results and more game benchmarks.
If it is as it shows here, I will definitely pick one up over a 3080/3090 (Mostly because of availability at this point but also because 3090 is not that much different from 3080 at the end of the day).

In this chart, 5700XT matches the 2070Super score. But in realtive game performance the 5700XT loses from 2070Super by ~8%.

I would say it favors AMD a bit more, around 10% extra performance compared to nVidia. So lets hope that this is a real like and this is Navi 21 XL, because that would mean the performance would be similar to the RTX 3080.
So if this big navi is ahead of 3080 by ~8.5% then on gaming it will be ~equal.
