Just installed these on my 5970 (windows 7 x64) and it has completely screwed up my screen. I have a horizontal tear and a vertical tear on my screen where the elements are all in the wrong place and having massive rendering issues on the desktop. It does not appear in screenshots, so here's a photo of the screen:

Your milage may vary, but make sure you have a system restore ready if you're installing these.

**edit**

A full system restart does seem to have fixed this, just in case anyone else sees the same issue.

installed normally; using HD 5970 & Windows 8.1 Preview; [deep cleaned old 13.10 beta v1 first]

will update here; if issues arrise

Why?

The beta is 64-bit only. :slap:

I am going to see how the beta runs then perhaps install these. I don't have Crossfire so...

Even if you do have crossfire and these don't work, you can just make your own and base it off BF3. Won't be the best, but better then nothing (hopefully).

Installed, played some BF3 and all is well. :)

I'm still waiting for the Crossfire + Eyefinity frame pacing.....

subbing to see if any 7790 users take bait. and their results.

damn would like to try this new drivers but i am not in my desktop now...

but good to see AMD is really working hard on their drivers instead of releasing CAP profiles as they do before

From 52 to 67FPS in Rome II. Nice! ;)

Lots of people complaining about this or that with BF4 beta (and water is wet) but all generally positive reports re. these drivers, as far as I can tell or have seen as yet...

^ that happened on my laptop with beta 1, gunna install these now.

and whats the deal with the catalyst util :/

its not a seperate driver like in the past

Not sure exactly what u mean or are referring to?

Jeez, I gotta wait for 64-bit Xfire support now for BF4 how stupid.

Works fine for me.

Getting tearing on 2 monitor set up with official 13.9's that I wasn't getting before, looks like some kind of vsync issue, so happily trying 13.10 beta

these are working fine for me with my desktop + laptop.

laptop as always 'dual graphics' is broken, but thats HP's problem.

I this (and the last BETA) had it?

I'm not exactly sure what you meant there, but the latest drivers still only support frame pacing on a single monitor with resolution maximum 2560x1600 and only in DX10/DX11.
