Benchmark Scores | bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o |
ahhh i see ... you were actually "ranting" (the "" are added for obvious reason) about "most" review being mostly in DX12 thus belittling Ryzen more than it should've deserved? tho "deserved" is not the right word ... Ryzen do mighty fine against Intel in my view (or i am completely out of caffeine and really need to replenish my reserve )Yes, but Ryzen loses much more performance compared to Intel in DX12. The problem is that most reviewers solely use DX12 for testing, showing Ryzen in a worse light than needed.
Look at the FPS difference again: https://techreport.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=119280
well as i said my 6600K loose also the same 35% perf ... a 1700 or 1600 doesn't seems that bad, as long as i get a little above 60fps on 1440p in the games i play the most (which iirc only 2 or 3 of them are DX12 and a little buggy if put in that mode) when i will upgrade
having the horsepower to do some heavier computational task ... would be a cherry on the cake in my case... if i was only doing gaming, then yes i would stay on my 6600K
