AMD to Begin Sampling 7nm "Zen 2" Processors Within 2018 for a 2019 Launch

Ah so my assuming that you can tell the difference between performance and IPC boost was wrong. My apologies.
You know what your problem is ~ you see only what you want to see, Tom did exaggerate a few things in his assumptions but of course you'd only like to point that out while ignoring the rest
I am only suggesting 7nm Ryzen will possibly hit 4.8GHz, and that Ryzen 3 could have a large (10-30%) IPC boost

I was only pointing out, what he thinks is only valuable to himself. In a public thread, it's a bit better than spam.

I mean, I cou;d start by telling you what I think Zen2 will be, you can start by telling me what you think it is, the next guy can correct us both and this thread could easily go on for 20+ pages. But is would just be 20+ pages of guesswork. So what I'm trying to say is these guesses are better kept to one's self. It's ok to post them once if you really feel you're on to something. But posting predictions about unreleased products (and that goes for all products from all manufacturers) just pollutes threads. At least for me, who most of the time glance over these forums from work with little time to deal with crappy posts.
