ARCTIC, one of the leading manufacturers of low-noise PC coolers and components, has added the powerful Liquid Freezer II 280 and Liquid Freezer 420 RGB and A-RGB models to its award-winning AIO range. The multi-compatible water coolers are also equipped for Intel's new Alder Lake CPUs with LGA1700 sockets. With the efficient PWM-controlled pump, featuring a VRM fan for additional cooling in the socket area, as well as the proven 140 mm P-fans, achieving high static pressure with very low noise, the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II series clearly sets itself apart from other AIOs and offers plenty of overclocking flexibility.

A maintenance-free water circuit and the integrated cable management, which hides the PWM and RGB cables in the hose sleeves, plus a six-year manufacturer's warranty underline the high quality and complete the attractive price-performance ratio of the Liquid Freezer II range. The color-capable, effective LED lighting of the fans makes these high-performance coolers the ideal choice for gaming PCs. Optionally, the Liquid Freezer II 280 RGB and Liquid Freezer 420 RGB are also available in a bundle with Arctic's software-controlled RGB controller.

The Liquid Freezer II 280 A-RGB and Liquid Freezer II 420 A-RGB models offer even more lighting options with individually addressable LEDs for fully customized color display.

Availability
New Liquid Freezer II models are now available in the ARCTIC Webshop and in stores.

The only thing I didnt like about these is that they did not use a connector between the block (wired inside the hose sleeve) and the daisy-chained fan cable, meaning the 3 (or 2) fan daisy-chained cable becomes useless with you use a fan hub or other fan control. I'm sure they wanted to make the fan cable seem proprietary, which is stupid.

The fans I got with mine are cheap and the frame flexes ( arms holding the fan motor ) so much so that when mounted upside down ( air flows up ) it actually sags.

These perform very well but I now detest the way the pump, radiator fans and CPU block fan are all run off a single pwm cable. My motherboard could make sense of it and not the first time. I had to separate radiator fans and disconnect the block fan to gain control I'll never buy again.

Love their products just a shame, I will never go back to liquid after getting acquainted with Noctua coolers.

I wish they would make a "baller" model. That's why I went with the lesser performance of the Kraken Z73 because of the beautiful LCD screen to run gifs on. I would change in a heartbeat.

Please note that these may not be LGA 1700 compatible out of the box.
Arctic currently does not list LGA 1700 support on their website and the product images also only list up to LGA 1200 at the time of this comment.

I placed an order for a 420 argb from the Arctic web store (20 October) and was advised by Arctic that I will need to get a mount/bracket kit.
Perhaps Arctic support was incorrect, BUT, the website suggests no LGA 1700 support in the box.
Once I actually receive the order, will update.

Also, the upgrade kit/mount for LGA 1700 is not currently ready or sale yet, I was advised that they should be shipping, ready to claim and ready to order on the 1st November.
