As those transistors and chips are getting smaller and smaller i think it is highly likely, at some point it is inevitable to go into quantum territory. Or maybe it already has on consumer products we use in our daily lives ?

When you think about how computers got smaller and thus exponentially powerful, as of late 20th century. I think it makes sense to hypothesize those QM computers might actually very well integrate onto our lives at some point. Heck think about what you could do with those enormous processing powers at hand in the field of AI and simulation. Mining would be an underestimation of what it could be capable of.

The problem is digital vs analogue; reason we abandoned analogue computers. The problem is that quantum computers have analogue parts that can't be shut down unless one wants to lose the quantum speedup.
