I'm down for HC with you guys. Unfortunately I won't be able to play till around November 5th, so I'll miss the beta and the first couple of weeks of playing but after that I'm in.

No clue what my Origin name is but once I do, I'll throw it up on the BF3 clubhouse.

I only ever play one game, 1 or 2 nights a week for some brain dead time and it used to be BF2 then it was 2142 then BFBC2 now BF3...

Possibly. I didn't buy BC2 until it went on sale on Steam for ~$10. I'm not particularly interested, so I'm not going out of my way to buy it as soon as it comes out.

DICE completely redid the hitreg system. if it actually works (alpha went well from what I am hearing) it should reduce the relevance of ping.

pre-ordered months ago when D2D had it for 20% off. Now everybody is doing all these pre-order bonuses, kinda wish I had waited.

I'm looking forward to playing with fellow TPU players. Usually just play with small group of friends.

Pre-ordered. Annoyingly not from Origin, I get some extra unlocks early instead, as a pre-order bonus.

Still, I think beta would spoil the final game experience a bit. Want to play it complete.
will probably drop £150-220 on a new GPU for this game too.

Don't think it wil, played in the PS3 beta for BC2 and it was extremely polished (and that was like 5 months before the game even came out), then played in the PC beta a month before the game came out and that was really polished as well. Betas aren't as they use to be, developers don't like to put out buggy software, even in beta stages as so many people will judge a game based on that, since believe it or not PC gaming is growing (despite what some believe).

Got 25% discount code, then I had a £10 off voucher so got in on Origin for £19.99. Bargain of the year I think.

Alpha was good although I wasn't that keen on Metro map, but then Caspian Border hit <Fap, Fap, Fap>

Top it all off, ordered a 64 man server for day one launch. Whoop!
