Hello. my good friend PP Mguire has been hosting a ark server for a while now
.A few weeks ago we started on a fresh map and running the center map, very nice map and is getting a major update on the 28th that further increases the map size. there is just been a few of us playing so there is plenty of prime land to settle on.

he has it set for high xp, taming i thinks x10 as is breeding also has high mats re spawn timer with fly in caves. the only mod we are running at this time is the no clip mod.

I ran a ARK server for awhile for me and my daughter. She no longer plays so I closed it down but I may jump in when I have some time. If Rambo joins that would be me.

We havent seen a whole lot of pvp. Most have been pretty friendly. We did have this one tribe that whent around in the middle of the night and wiped several bases when we had a decent amount of ppl in the island map. I was excited to find one of my walls gone, I was like oh really ok this shit is on lol. Sadly we found out they were hacking and had spawned tons of ascendant gear in and I mean tons of it.....well they got stomped for cheating lol.

Is hard to get traffic on a unofficial server if you dont have friends that play or a way to promote it. I mean there is thousands of servers on the list.

the center map got a big update Thursday. they added the new redwoods region and that shit its massive a lot bigger than i tho it would. also they fixed Dino spawns and some existing areas got updated.

Ok guys, fixed a big problem I was having with arkservers.net. If you tried to click the link in the OP and it directed to an offline server it was because DDNS was enabled for an old server claim that needed to be scrubbed.

So, if you click up there or https://arkservers.net/server/ppserver.ddns.net:27015 it will now direct to the proper server page and you can join. We are running The Center map with No Collision mod for some classic but slightly modded fun. Flying is enabled in caves as well. Hope to see some of you soon.

As an addition, I will be running a Minecraft server soon, and usually host a Killing Floor 2 server which is offline currently due to inactivity. I also have space for VMs if somebody needs some power remotely for rent cheap. If there are any game server requests I can do fairly easily please post and I'll see what I can do.

Well, I've been playing a wee bit with friends, and they just started on that map as well. I haven't tried that out yet, but overall I'm not that impressed by the game. It could be nice, but for me crafting needs to be total freestyle (Terraria), or very restricted. In Ark you can do a lot but it is also annoyingly restrictive, and it has a weird mix of realism and daftness. Not to mention my friends are total geeks, where I am not unless I feel like it and I rarely feel like it these days. They just ran of and industrialised everything as fast as possible, but I can't see how that is enjoyable. I mainly built chairs, plopped them down on nice locations and just watched the scenery.

I did like the game from the start though. Before you got to the stupid machine-making machines, and combat rifles somehow?

EDIT: Not to mention the interface, and the buggy connections.

I prefer modded ark Cuz vanilla ark sucks lol. Is why I added more customers building pieces because what I love the most is building.

I tried to play this a year or so ago and could not get into it at all. Random dino out of no where killing me or I starved. I really wanted to get into it because dinosaurs, but I ended up refunding the game through steam.
