As we live the age of game remakes, which game you would like to see to have a remake?

Although I'm not holding my breath it's Parasite Eve for me as well. Hopefully with the popularity of the RE remakes SquareEnix looks into it. Even a remaster in the vien of Crisis Core would be awesome.

Legend of Dragoon would be my second choice.

when I was a kid I had the Legend of Dragoon for my PS1, but I just never got around to seriously playing it. I always regretted that. Not sure what ever happened to my PS1 stuff, I still have a couple of my favorite games from PS1 in storage, but the rest of it I have no idea sadly.

I would like to also see Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 re-made from the PS2 era. I really remember enjoying those.

Drakan: Order of the Flame & Drakan: The Ancients' Gates

Metal Gear Solid ... in MGS4 we got a sneak peek at what this might look like with a modern engine.

I think if the MGS3 remake goes well, they will remake the other ones. I know they just announced the MGS3 remake last week or two.

Yeah, my guess is they will skip the psp games and MGSV doesn't need a remake so that would make MGS 1 next chronologically.

Although MGS IV really needs to escape being trapped on PS3

I think MGS Peacewalker would be a nice remake if they did that. The idea of playing though Big Boss's rise and fall is pretty epic and perhaps more interesting than solid snakes.

I liked Peacewalker I could see that being next also. Konami seems more interested in making money vs making games though so I feel like the psp games will be skipped as much as I liked them they aren't as exciting as MGS 1/2/3 although apparently we are getting a remaster of those at least on ps5 I'm not holding my breath that they will be decent ports though.

I'll be skipping PS5 since I've moved back to PC gaming again. Unfortunately I'll probably miss some exclusives. MGS and Orange Box is what got me into PS3 neither of which are coming back with fresh content AFAICT. I saw something interesting the other day about RX6700 XT potentially being more optimal for PC ports since console games are being optimized essentially for that similar hardware.
There could be some exciting times ahead for PC ports on newer consoles and if so a nice bonus for game remakes that get ported over too.

My wife even though she will game on PC still prefers PS5 even though her PC plays games substantially better. So at the very least I'll always own a Playstation console.

I don't think it's the RDNA2/3 in general although it doesn't hurt that the consoles are a variation of it I think it's probably due to the 12GB of vram better matching a typical PS5/Series X port.

If every game starts perfoming like Call of duty on radeon cards I'd probably lean towards that being why though.

The delayed Playstation to PC ports are kinda annoying though. Especially considering most ship with issues.

Original Far Cry
Original Resident Evil
NFS Underground
Half Life 2
Aliens vs Predator 1 & 2
Original Diablo

I actually like the current remake for the original game.

Would love at least a remaster of diablo or full on one like the D2 remake.

Prey, the OG one with portals.

I was unaware of any remake of the ones I listed. Goes to show how much I'm up to speed these days on gaming : (

Was it Resident Evil matey?

Yeah RE1 was originally done for Gamecube if I'm remembering correctly but still holds up pretty well.

Both it and 0 are definitely worth a playthrough.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Fighting Layer
Old classic NFS games before dlc existed
Test Drive
Screamer series

I like old pc games.

I linked it lol. A full on remake would still be awesome though.

Oh yeah doh : ) Was assuming it was for GameCube.

Might have to check it out. Cheers.

Imperium Galactica 2, probably my all time fav space strategy. 'out of the ones I've tried ofc'
Unreal 1 and maybe UT 99/2003
Carmageddon 1/2
Red Alert 2
Some of the older/classic NFS titles
Soldier of Fortune 1 in a proper way with a modern gore system. 'yeah fat chance in today's world '

Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 - The first game was epic and the second game was rush-ruined like we're so accustomed to seeing with AAA games these days.

Freelancer, because so many games inspired by it have either tried and failed to replicate it, or ended up mutating into something very different by release.

SHOGO Mobile Armor Division. Gloriously weird Anime/Mecha FPS that's now dated as hell.

Duke Nukem 3D

Actually, there was a Reloaded project, put on indefinite hiatus due to legal issues... I hope it still happens somehow...

> UT 99/2003

Sadly unlikely in official capacity, as Epic left that one to community to develop, and you can get it on EGS and see state of it for yourself.

Part 1 is getting the remake treatment but it's in development hell it seems.

I still liked part 2 even with it's issues.

It really is a shame that epic isn't super interested in making games other than Fortnite.
