Im gonna Tri-Fire next week with my X2

Just till the x2 comes down to around £200 then ill put the 3870 in my dads pc he could use the upgrade from a radeon 9550 :eek:

mmm wonder if i can hit 24k next with my new mobo? should arrive tuesday due to easter weekend :wtf:

lucky my monitor only does 1680 x 1050.. he he.. mind u i remember the days when 640 x 480 was considered a high gaming resolution.. in many ways it is what u are used to.. as u say u never want go back.. he he

what are you planning on partnering that x2 up with, a 3870?

I'm still planning on snagging 2 3870x2's - itchin for it really. Immature drivers or not, quad-fire isn't far off.

Hell, if you're gonna go all out, might as well over do it

damn, I remember them days - I also remember when 800x600 was a big deal, and when a lot of programs started moving over to that res for minimum spec. What the hell size were our monitors back then, 13", 14"?

Our shop computer still uses a 13" monitor, and using it now just makes me feel like I need a magnifying glass :laugh:
