I meant changing the multiplier on a laptop The only success I have ever had was changing the FSB and that is on older core 2 due based laptops

Compared to the N series Atoms that where available at the time which had same performance for a quarter of the power consumption allowing for shitty performing, youtube hd stuttering 10 hours battery lifetime . Compared to the intel ULV CPUs of the time that had the same TDP and price but twice the performance, compared to the Snapdragon 800 in my phone... Compared to pretty much everything. Hell I bet you can get more CPM on a typewriter than on that thing

That CPU is the E-300 on 1.222v. OCCT 63c and max load gaming is 68c.

I'd highly suggest testing that overclock with a benchmark and compare it to stock speeds. I had an E-1200 that seemed to overclock incredibly well, but I became skeptical when the $250-300 (brand new) computer hit 3.8-4.2 GHz on stock volts, stock cooling (I've seen chipset coolers that were bigger) with zero temp increase. Checked with benchmarks and they ran the same speed as stock. Googling confirmed that utilities would let you change the multi and CPU freq would appear to change, but it wouldn't actually apply the changes.

Say so. A bit weird that it's not actually going to the CPU, because when I "apply" the OC the laptop seems snappier and runs faster. It's so very strange.
