ill get it if the sale is still going but i dont know oh and for the record it turns out that my stupid psu burned the board out not a flash stupid damn PSU 2nd bored its burnt now time for a new one maybe an ultra xfinity 600 wtt for $30 i know they are not the best PSUs ever but its cheap oh and ketxxx it wont boot whatsoever so hot flash wont work

if ur in the states use the egg and get a fortron/fsp or epower unit, close to the same price but FAR FAR FAR higher quility, ultra in my exp tend to be so/so at best.

400watt fortron/fsp unit would cover you easly(its covering my x1900xt,3500+@2.7, 4hhds'2 optical drives, and a bunch of usb crap(mostly usb powered stuff i rarely use but connect anyway.....)

for 40 u can get a psu thats truely high quility

yeah i know alot of psu are better but i have one running on a pentiumd which draws more than this will even oc'd so i should be ok esp since it is a 600watt and the one on my pentium d is a cheap 500watt not even atx2.0

whatever i can find cheap though it will prolly be some mushkin enhanced stuff but at this point im not even positive on the cpu mobo combo

some ecs xpress200 chipset one w/ onboard video adn a pci-e

try and avoid the older ati southbrige its slower for usb then the uli or sb600 chips, the top matx chipsets are the 6100, xpress200 and newer xpress1100, if you can swing it i would grab a 1100 or 6100 board, any ddr2 should work for starters, most chips just force you to go to 2t if you want to clock the ram to much(onchip mem cont is picky like that)

as i said avoid the older southy from ati, it works, just not as well as the uli or newer sb600 from ati, known usb and raid perf issues :/

get a 3000+ and M2N-E (good board now, but it could be better) and some ddr2

get the tforce6100 board from the egg and some better cooling, its 20 more then your thinking of spending but its one hell of an overclocker, my buddys got a 1.6gz sempy64@3.2gz in a freezer64pro cooler(30bucks or less at the egg for cooler)
thing screams dispite only being 128k cache

ill prolly find something on ewiz or TD on sale maybe even a dual core prescott lol the 840 is still cheap
