This is what an another review says regarding that panel:

I'd just grab it if I were you.
Yesterday i read this review

As las wrote in #40 rx 6800 xt for 4k next best thing since 3840x1080 is to big (49") and 3840x1600 is to expensive, would be 3440x1440 with a rx 6700 xt, again just above rtx 2080 super and under 2080 ti and 3070 performance

Last widescreen i had 1+ years ago was the first acer x34 100hz

Would also match my non curved AOC 24G2U

I can nail way over 100 FPS in Warzone all high other stuff other on with DLSS at high at 3440x with my OC'd 2080. Without DLSS, I used to dip down to like 65-70 FPS during the plane stage but that no longer happens. I suppose your card should also maintain solid performance.

It does in the games i play, i know a rx 6800 xt can be alot faster (unfortunally) than my rx 6700 xt.

A cheap rx 6800 xt only costs 5-10 % more than what i payed for my rx 6700 xt, the problem is, it's very hard to find one, rx 6700 xt is the not to crazy expensive rx card (stil overpriced by 15-20%) close to the performance of a last years top of the line card from nvidia 2080 ti (rx 6700 xt a little cheaper than a rtx 2080 ti)and the top of the line rx 6900 xt is super expensive, i think the sweet spot for high end gaming is rtx 3070/3080 and rx 6800xt so that might be why it's so hard to find a cheap rx 6800 xt, all want's to buy a rx 6800 xt

look at the performance difference in Horizon Zero Dawn, it's insane, can't belive it's almost 50% , vram limited ? (12 vs 16gb)

i just thought of something if i sell my 24" 1080 monitor i could use my 27" 1440 monitor as a second monitor and 3440x1440 144 hz as my main monitor both are about 109-110 dpi and gives me more for multitasking

Going to get one as well sooner or later as 28" for 4K is probably kinda meh. IIRC 1080 Ti supports FreeSync?

Just remember anything over 95 or is it 100Hz on a GTX 1080Ti using DP will cause a chroma subsampling of 4:2:2 because of the lack of DSC1.2 (Direct Screen Compression).

I don't care about the refresh rate, 60 is fine for me.

It's one of those things you have to try for yourself to like. Higher refresh rate experience is a whole lot more smoother.

I mean you can get a good 144 Hz 1080p screen for like $150 nowadays, it's not a ton of money to be fair.

At least $200+ for a decent 1080p 144/165hz monitor, $150 vil only get you an entry level 24" 1080 144hz monitor

The IGZO coated LG / Panda panel is a pretty good monitor actually, the found one in couple flat screen 24 inch 144 Hz panels. I would by no means say it's an entry grade monitor. It competes with monitors that are much more expensive in multiple areas.

They say similar things when it comes to certain drugs. And a similar effect happens, too. You get accustomed to a different level of perception and its hard to go back.

Different however is not objectively better. I moved from 60hz to 120hz to now a 144hz 3440x1440 panel. On the same GPU. So I'm seeing the differences and as the resolution went up, now I lack some grunt to run games at 144hz native... I have to say I prefer the resolution and sub 100 FPS to the high refresh at 1080p.

Choices but I can't say its really hard going back to sub 100 FPS. Much more important is consistency, no tearing, etc.

Its important to realize that the top end of performance is a constantly moving bar, so you'll always be making concessions at high refresh one way or another, just like you do when you chase super high resolutions like 4K. It all adds up into a nice price tag and a GPU you can't even buy proper right now.

You also only have a gtx 1080 that is just okay for 2560x1440 144hz and perfect for 1920x1080 144hz or 2560x1440 60hz

Yeah, but you can always use DSR or reshade and such to bump up image quality/resolution. Then again if you're trying to mostly play a ultra competitive twitch reflex game refresh rate becomes much more important than resolution to that demographic in general since it's like a built in I win button over anyone with inferior refresh rate at the same skill level.

I've said this already dozens of times elsewhere, I simply want a 4K60 screen as I actually don't play THAT much and there's no way to change my mind. I can get a meme refresh screen as a secondary later on.

When your FPS are catastrophically low, but the lag is high and time freezes then unwinds 5 seconds into the future...

It's ok but a lower quality panel than the Nitro. In fact I'm eyeing an IIyama with the same panel found in the Nitro for myself right now.

And his source is? That guy has no clue what he's even doing, you need professional equipment to test that, not CS: GO.

There ain't nothing wrong with 19ms of input lag, are you even looking at the monitor below it? It's a top notch panel praised by everyone, the GK950. Also, that review talks about CRT monitors which is silly.

I play usually drunk so there's some lag already, as I said, personally the cheapest is fine.
