Ive used:
Nod32 = its pretty good but their complete security package sucks a little. I dont know if its changed since i last used it.
Trend Micro PcCillin = used their security pro package too, they are good but not GREAT, they let too much crap through so I dumped them.
Norton: Internet Security package - I heard their 2009 package was the the best. better detection rate then Kaspersky which is really hard to beat. not tried 2009, last time i ever used Norton was their Internet security 2005 package. back in the days when Norton use to hog a ton of resources...
I never went back to them because 3 months into my years subscription my legit key was blacklisted for some stupid reason. I emailed them proof of purchase but they still refused to reactivate my product, so that was all 3 keys (1 used by me & 3 spare) gone in a blink of an eye. what makes it worse is their support number diverts you to a fucking call center in India - Ive nothing against India, the race or the people living there. while i sympathise that the unemployment ratio is through the roof there, getting them to work in helpdesk/support center on the fricking phones kills customer satisfaction quicker then Tom Jones walking into a crowded mall & dropping his pants.
Im not buying Norton again if i can help it.
McCafee - dont waste your time. honestly i dont know why this company still exists let alone working in pc security.
Panda - I tested their internet security package when they were new on the scene - pretty good but they are a lesser known company so therefore get less sales because the market is dominated by Norton & Kaspersky.
